The Albertstadt garrison became the headquarters of the Soviet 1st Guards Tank Army in the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany after the war.

Soviet records show that Kim was born in the village of Vyatskoye, near Khabarovsk, in 1941, where his father, Kim Il-sung, commanded the 1st Battalion of the Soviet 88th Brigade, made up of Chinese and Korean exiles.

S. draft registration card that he was 47 during World War Two and was born in " Nicolaav " on " Mar 1 1895 ".

The 6th and 1st Divisions were to attack the advancing Soviet forces near Summa.

On 27 June 1941, when Hungary declared war on the Soviet Union, the CR. 42s equipped three MKHL units: 1 ./ I Group, based in Szolnok, 1 ./ II Group, at Mátyásföld, of 1st Fighter Wing, and 2 ./ II Group, based in Kolozsvár, of 2nd Fighter Wing.

To the north of Hiiumaa, on 1st July, 1941, the Soviet submarine M-81 was destroyed because of a German seamine.

While there were scores of Red Army divisions on the ground formed from specific Soviet republics, there appears to have been very few aviation regiments formed from nationalities, among them being the 1st Latvian Night Aviation Regiment.

After that battle, the 1st Cavalry Army's morale has collapsed and the army which was one of the most feared of the Soviet troops was no longer considered an effective fighting force.

On 22 February, alarmed by the success of the German counterattack, the Soviet Stavka ordered the Voronezh Front to shift the 3rd Tank Army and 69th Army south, in an effort to alleviate pressure on the Southwestern Front and destroy German forces in the Krasnograd area.

In the face of German success against the Southwestern Front, including attempts by the Soviet 6th Army breaking out of the encirclement, Stavka ordered the Voronezh Front to relinquish control of the 3rd Tank Army to the Southwestern Front.

Ultimately, the 3rd SS was able to pierce the 15th Tank Corps ' lines and link up with other units of the same division advancing north, successfully encircling the Soviet tank corps.

On 9 March, the Soviet 40th Army counterattacked against the Grossdeutschland Division in a final attempt to restore communications with the 3rd Tank Army.

The commander of the Polish 3rd Army in Ukraine, General Edward Rydz-Śmigły, decided to break through the Soviet line toward the northwest.

It faced the combined forces of the numerically and materially superior Soviet 3rd and 15th Armies.

On March 10, 1919, according to the 3rd Congress of Soviets in Ukraine ( conducted March 6 – 10, 1919 ) the name of the state was changed to the " Ukrainian Socialist Soviet Republic " ( abbreviated " УСРР " in Ukrainian as opposed to the later " УРСР ").

On October 23, 1944, the town was captured by the forces of the Soviet 3rd Belarusian Front.

The last recipient of the title " Hero of the Soviet Union " was a Soviet diver, Captain of the 3rd rank Leonid Mikhailovich Solodkov on December 24, 1991 for fulfillment of a special diving task.

At the end of the second five-year plan ( 1933 – 1937 ) Azerbaijan appeared at 3rd place in the Soviet Union by its capital investment size.
