* On 29 October 2009, the Google homepage of a great number of countries displayed a logo ( called Google Doodle ) commemorating 50 years of Asterix.

The logo was given yet another modification in 1974, with the number of stars being reduced to 22, and the Paramount text and Gulf + Western byline appearing in different fonts.

Both bear a script-lettered " Phillies " logo, with the aforementioned star dotting the " i " s across the chest, and the player name and number on the back.
