On 25 August 2012, it was announced by Stuart Murphy, director of Sky entertainment channels, that a one hour timeshift of Sky1 and Sky Atlantic will launch in the Autumn of 2012.

Sky Sports News was removed from Freeview on 23 August 2010 and replaced with Sky3 + 1, a one hour timeshift Sky3.

Also not seen on a timeshift basis was the final ever episode of Lost which was aired at 5am, as it was simultaneously being broadcast in the US.

Despite being a one hour timeshift, Ftn + 1 only broadcast from 19: 00 until 01: 00 as Live Roulette TV which was shown on Ftn from 00: 00 till 03: 00 could not be rebroadcast an hour later for legal reasons.

Channel 4 broadcast most of its channels free to air from this satellite, including Channel 4, Channel 4 + 1, E4, More4 and Film4 along with their timeshift variants.

On Monday, 17 November 2008, CSC Media Group launched a + 1 timeshift of Scuzz, Scuzz + 1.

ITV launched a one hour timeshift channel of ITV3 on Monday, 30 October 2006.

Trouble's one hour timeshift channel named Trouble + 1 ( formerly Trouble Reload ( a 30 minute timeshift channel )) closed on 5 February 2009 to make way for the launch of Living2 + 1.

Showtime Movie Channels is an Australian pay-TV movie service, available on the Foxtel, Optus and Austar TV platforms, the service consists of five original channels ( showtime premiere, showcase, showtime action, showtime comedy, showtime drama ), three HD simulcasts ( showtime premiere HD, showcase HD, showtime action HD ) and two timeshift channels ( showtime two, showcase two ).

From 10 May 2010, Sky2 carried an hour timeshift of programming on Sky1.

A two hour timeshift called UKTV Style 2 launched on 12 December 2007 on major platforms, replacing UKTV Bright Ideas on Sky.

Pop Girl + 1, a 1 hour timeshifted version of Pop Girl launched on Wednesday 4 June, which replaced their first music channel timeshift, Flaunt + 1, which had only been on air just short of 4 weeks.
