Jazz pioneers such as John Coltrane — who recorded a composition entitled ' India ' during the November 1961 sessions for his album Live At The Village Vanguard ( the track was not released until 1963 on Coltrane's album Impressions )— also embraced this fusion.

In 1995, Brown returned to the Apollo, and released the live album, Live at the Apollo 1995, which included a studio track titled " Respect Me ", which was released as a single ; again it failed to chart.

The sample-based sound collages of Johannes Schmoelling drew their inspiration from a number of sources ; one instance is Steve Reich's Music for 18 Musicians on, for example, parts of Logos Live, and the track Love on a Real Train from the Risky Business soundtrack.

Cobain's death also stirred controversy surrounding the final track on Live Through This — " Rock Star "— which contained lyrics that read: " How'd you like to be Nirvana ?/ So much fun to be Nirvana / A barrel of laughs to be Nirvana / Say you'd rather die ".

Also, in the US finale, the original ' USA for Africa ' studio track for " We Are the World " was overlaid in places where the microphone was absent ( in fact, if you listen closely, you can hear the vocals of Kenny Rogers and James Ingram, two artists who did not even take part in Live Aid ).

On May 21, 2007 the Moodies released a forty-one track, two-disc compilation of sessions recorded at BBC Studios, various television appearances, and a previously ' lost ' performance done on the Tom Jones show titled Live at the BBC: 1967-1970.

In an effort to aim the album toward both younger and older audiences, the label decided to bundle the new album with a second disc comprising live performances of every track from History: America's Greatest Hits, previously recorded at XM Radio as part of XM's Then Again ... Live series, recorded with longtime America drummer Wil Leacox, guitarist Michael Woods and bassist Richard Campbell.

When this EP was eventually released on CD several years later, a 5th track, titled " Prophecy ", was added to the tracklist ; this was a song performed live by the band circa 1983 ( and was included on the 1984 " Live in Tokyo " home video ), and in 2003 was included on the remastered edition of The Warning as a bonus track.

That year also saw the release of a low-key live album, Live At The Metro, along with a track on the Spider-Man 2 soundtrack.

The use of the 808 drum by Double Duce on the 1985 track " School Breakdown " and 2 Live Crew on its third album, As Nasty As They Wanna Be, established a foundation for sounds of Miami bass and southern rap.

Wedlock's albums include The Folker ( 1971 ) ( notable for the title track parody of " The Boxer " by Simon and Garfunkel ), Frolicks ( 1973 ), Out of Wedlock ( 1978 ), The Oldest Swinger in Town ( 1981 ) and Fred Wedlock Live ( 1982 ).

* EMI's first digital recording – at Abbey Road Studios – of a non-classical music track is released – UK jazz-funk duo Morrissey-Mullen covered the Rose Royce hit Love Don't Live Here Anymore.

Due to this, the album became a million-seller and was the brothers ' first album to go platinum as did its 1974 follow-up, Live It Up, which included the hits " Midnight Sky ", the Todd Rundgren cover of " Hello It's Me " and the title track.

Live at PJ's ' track " N. T " has been sampled extensively by artists such as Boogie Down Productions, Brand Nubian, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, N. W. A and Kris Kross.

However, the sixties pop group The Turtles sued De La Soul for using a sample from their 1969 hit " You Showed Me " for the interlude track " Transmitting Live from Mars ", despite the fact that The Turtles did not actually write the original song.

# 1's was also released as a DualDisc, featuring the same track listing, seven videos of selected songs and a trailer of the concert DVD Destiny's Child: Live in Atlanta.

Giblin made his debut with Simple Minds at Live Aid in Philadelphia, where the band performed " Don't You ( Forget About Me )", a new track called " Ghostdancing " and " Promised You a Miracle ".

By this time, the band was explicit in their intent to find a major record label ; band members have said that it was no accident that the first track of Live Stages opens with the sounds of a large cheering audience.

2002's Still Up In This Shit !, released by Hit-A-Lick / Koch Records, featured more Latin rap style and G-Funk tracks as well as a hidden bonus rock track titled " Cannabis ".

The title track " Up!

The title track, written by Steve Kipner and Terry Shaddick, spent ten weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100, matching the then record of most weeks spent at No. 1 in the rock era held by Debby Boone's " You Light Up My Life.

Neither of these albums had significant input from Richard 23, and 05: 22: 09: 12 OFF only included their lead vocalist, Jean-Luc De Meyer, on a remixed track originally from Up Evil.

* June 1997-Liroy's second full album tilled L is released ( album contains the track Mano a Mano written especially for boxing champion Saleta as his fights introduction and the hit single Skaczcie do gory ( Jump Up ));

Wilson played and sang on much of the 1971 Surf's Up album and wrote or co-wrote four of the album's ten songs, including the title track, which was a Carl Wilson-produced rerecording of the legendary 1966 SMiLE track.

Up until the 1930s only stock and camel trains would take the Birdsville track.

* The seventh track on Razorlight's 2004 debut album Up All Night, is named Don't Go Back To Dalston.

Two other key songs written and recorded for SMiLE -- " Cabin Essence " and " Surf's Up " -- were compiled by Carl Wilson and included on the 20 / 20 and Surf's Up LPs in more or less the same form as Wilson had intended them for SMiLE, while the song " Cool Cool Water " ( an extended track built around the SMiLE fragment " I love to say Dada ") later appeared on the Sunflower album.

Hazel made another prominent appearance in " Man's Best Friend " on the George Clinton album Computer Games ( 1982 ), as well as the track " Pumping It Up " from the P-Funk All Stars album Urban Dancefloor Guerillas.

The track " Startin ' Up A Posse " is a tongue in cheek attack on the PMRC.

It was pioneered by I-F with their 1997 track " Space Invaders Are Smoking Grass " ( which, " introducing old-fashioned verse-chorus dynamics to burbling electro in a vocodered homage to Atari-era hi-jinks ," is the " record widely credited with catalysing " the electroclash movement ), as well as Collider with their 1998 album Blowing Shit Up ( though Collider called its own style " electropunk " as the genre had not yet been named ).

The hip hop group Das Racist released the album Shut Up, Dude as a free mix-tape in March 2010 ; the fifth track on this album is " Fake Patois ", which engages issues of authenticity in popular culture.

Suicidal Tendencies played on the track " Look Up ...( The Boys are Back ) which was the introduction of guitarist Rocky George and drummer RJ Herrera.

In 1993, Kravitz wrote " Line Up " for Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, and appeared on Mick Jagger's solo album, Wandering Spirit, in a cover of the Bill Withers soul classic " Use Me ", and played guitar on the title track of David Bowie's The Buddha of Suburbia.

Sam & Dave were so busy touring at this point that Hayes & Porter travelled to Europe where Sam & Dave were touring to record the vocal track on " Wrap it Up " so they could release the single.

Look What the Cat Dragged In features the extra track " You Don't Mess Around With Jim ", Open Up and Say ... Ahh!

One Flight Up features an extended solo by Gordon on the track " Tanya " recorded in Paris in 1964 with trumpeter Donald Byrd, while Gettin ' Around was recorded during a visit back to the US in May 1965, as was the unreleased album Clubhouse.

These songs include " Fortunate Freaks ", " Sun and Magic ", " Monkey Pants ", and one dated yet unreleased track, " Cover Me Up ".
