Kelly ( played by Tiffani-Amber Thiessen — now known as Tiffani Thiessen ) is a cheerleader and has been described by creator Peter Engel as the quintessential " All-American Girl.

Matthew Arnold Thiessen ( born August 12, 1980 ) is a Canadian-American musician, known for being co-founder, lead singer, guitarist, pianist, and primary songwriter for the Christian rock band Relient K. With Relient K, he has released six full-length albums, including three that were certified Gold, and three that peaked in the top twenty on the Billboard 200.

For all of Relient K's history, Thiessen has been the lead vocalist, frontman, guitarist, primary songwriter, and sometime co-producer.

Thiessen has occasionally collaborated with Jon Foreman of Switchfoot.

Thiessen has also made guest contributions on a number of releases with other artists, including John Reuben, tobyMac and The Fold.

Thiessen has claimed that after years of writing and performing pop-punk songs, he now finds writing slower music more enjoyable.

He has described his Matt Thiessen and the Earthquakes side project as being influenced by Rufus Wainwright and Ben Folds.

Hoopes has slowly developed into the band's lead guitarist over the years, despite Matt Thiessen playing lead a lot in the band's early days.

Besides playing for Relient K, Hoopes has also done backup vocals for certain Matthew Thiessen and the Earthquakes songs, and has been a guest guitarist at concerts for the band My Red Hot Nightmare.

Matt Thiessen has said that they can either usually tell who is being asked for when someone says " Matt ", or they tend to use a lot of last names.

Born in South Porcupine, Ontario and raised in Saskatchewan, Thiessen studied economics at the University of Saskatchewan and received an Honours BA in 1960 and a MA in 1961.

In 1997, Thiessen received an honorary Doctor of Laws ( LL. D ) degree from the University of Saskatchewan.

Jesse is a good friend of lead singer Matthew Thiessen and the rest of the band and received the dedication because he helped write the title track off the release, " The Vinyl Countdown.

Thiessen is playing more piano for the band now, whereas Hoopes ' primary duty for the band is guitar.

Thiessen was born in Long Beach, California, the daughter of Robyn Ernest, a homemaker, and Frank Thiessen, a park designer and landscape architect.

Ernest was the first person to suggest that Thiessen enter show business.

After a childhood of beauty pageants, Thiessen was crowned Miss Junior America in 1987 and a year later won Teen magazine's " Great Model Search " in 1988, by gracing the cover of that issue.

During her years while on Saved by the Bell, Thiessen was seen in guest roles on Charles in Charge ( 1990 ), Married ... with Children ( 1990 ), The Hogan Family ( 1990 ), Step by Step ( 1992 ), and The Powers That Be ( 1992 ).

On December 2, 2008, Thiessen was cast in White Collar, a USA Network television series.

At the site of what was originally the Johann D. C. Thiessen mansion and ranch, now Locomotive Park, so named because of the retired locomotive Steam Engine 92 and Camas Prairie RR Caboose on display in the middle, large trees and pathways are decorated with lights from Thanksgiving to New Year's.
