In 1927, Jefferson recorded another of his now classic songs, the haunting " See That My Grave Is Kept Clean " ( once again using the pseudonym Deacon L. J. Bates ) along with two other uncharacteristically spiritual songs, " He Arose from the Dead " and " Where Shall I Be.

" Of the three, " See That My Grave Is Kept Clean " became such a big hit that it was re-recorded and re-released in 1928.

He was the author of many tunes covered by later musicians, including the classic " See That My Grave Is Kept Clean ".

He would later spoof his B-movie career in My Name Is Bruce, in which he starred and directed.

Four years after Shepherd Moons she released The Memory of Trees ( 1995 ), another Top Five success in both the UK and Germany, as well as her first Top 10 album in the U. S. Singles released from the album were " Anywhere Is " and " On My Way Home ".

The songs on Sherman's next album My Name Is Allan ( 1965 ) were thematically connected: except for a couple of original novelty songs with music by Sherman and Busch, all the songs on the album are parodies of songs that had won, or were nominated for, the Academy Award for Best Song.
