Notably, Mick Foley's WWF Championship win over The Rock on Monday Night Raw saw WCW lose millions of viewers when Eric Bischoff instructed announcer Tony Schiavone to give away the result minutes before both main events started, which led to Raw drawing eleven million viewers.

On the June 30 episode of Raw, Mysterio came to make an announcement to all the Raw fans which led to a minor fight with Santino Marella.

On the October 2, 2006 episode of Raw, interference from the newly reformed D-Generation X ( DX ) ( Triple H and Shawn Michaels ) cost Edge his " final chance " at John Cena's WWE Championship in a Steel cage match, though their interference was a response to the interference of Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch, led to Edge approaching Randy Orton and asking him to join forces to defeat DX, which Orton accepted and joined an alliance with Edge.

This led to the conclusion of the storyline, in which a suicidal Hawk climbed to the top of the TitanTron, the giant television monitor erected during episodes of WWF's Monday Night Raw to show match highlights to fans in attendance.

His frequent insults toward ECW eventually led to the promotion " invading " Monday Night Raw in February 1997 and ultimately to a match with ECW wrestler Tommy Dreamer at ECW's Hardcore Heaven pay-per-view in August, which Dreamer won.

This led to an Intercontinental title match on the following Raw where Hardy dropped the title to Jericho.

However Cena would still do the latter which led to Batista quitting WWE on the next night on Raw.

On the September 27, 1999 edition of Monday Night Raw, Moolah and Young defeated Ivory in a Handicapped Evening Gown match, which led to a title match at No Mercy on October 17, 1999.

This led to a record contract with Raw Shack Records.

On the May 9 episode of Raw, Truth revealed that his attack on Morrison had led to him being hospitalized ( in reality, Morrison had injured his neck ) before then attacking Rey Mysterio at the end of the show.

The following night on Raw, Cena instigated an argument between R-Truth and Miz, which ultimately led to the team's dissolution as Miz attacked R-Truth with a Skull Crushing Finale onto the stage.

This led to a match at Armageddon 1999 between Triple H and Vince McMahon with the stipulations being that if Triple H won, he would receive a WWF Championship title shot on Raw, whereas, if Vince was victorious, Triple H would sign an annulment.

After dwindling down to only two members, Snow wrestled against himself on an edition of Raw before Holly came down to the ring to prevent Snow from hurting himself, which led to the formal breakup of the J. O. B.

The success of the DVD led to a One Night Stand Pay Per View event in 2005 which would continue on an annual basis for a couple of years ; after One Night Stand 2006, ECW was officially reborn as its own " brand " similar to Raw and Smackdown, although later it distanced itself from the original ECW and continued to operate until 2010 when it was replaced with NXT.

Eric Bischoff, who had disguised himself as the priest officiating the wedding, and 3-Minute Warning from Raw then led an attack on Stephanie McMahon, the General Manager of SmackDown !.

On May 26, Burchill assaulted Mr. Kennedy because he forced William Regal to leave Raw which led to a brief feud until Kennedy was drafted to SmackDown.

This led to several run-in appearances of WCW wrestlers during Raw and SmackDown!

On the August 1 episode of Raw, Laurinaitis would interrupt Triple H, telling him to strip Cena of his WWE Championship, which led to Cena to interrupt him and threaten to hit him again before Laurinaitis fled the ring.

On the April 18 episode of Raw, Hassan again led an attack on Michaels until Hogan appeared to save Michaels and accept his offer.

Edge's victory started a rivalry between Edge and Angle that would build up and last for the next year ( which resulted in Kurt Angle's head being shaved bald ), as well as was the basis for Christian's jealousy which led him to turn on Edge on the September 3, 2001 episode of Raw in Edge and Christian's hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

They were introduced on the June 23, 1997 edition of Raw and proceeded to feud with the new Nation of Domination led by Faarooq and Los Boricuas led by Savio Vega.
