Tony De Vit (; 12 September 1957 – 2 July 1998 ) was a British club DJ, Producer and Remixer and one of the most influential of his generation.

Tony de Vit began DJ ' ing at the age of 17, as a wedding DJ in 1976 playing at local pubs in his home town of Kidderminster, followed in his early 20 ’ s, by his first residency at the ' Nightingale ' in Birmingham on a Monday night where he played pop and Hi-NRG.

Up until this point Tony had predominately played in the gay club scene but Raine, who today is one of the most successful dance music promoters on the scene with his infamous ' Gatecrasher ' club nights, had a few words of wisdom and support for de Vit when he told him ' You are going to go all the way and be a huge success '.

In 1992, Tony de Vit met with an unknown music engineer called Simon Parkes.

It was at this time that Tony de Vit recorded ( in Simon ’ s bedroom ) and released his first record ' Feel the Love ( Don't Go Away )' which was well received on the club scene.

The Tony de Vit treatment has been a significant factor in the hugely successful dance music compilations album market.

House had a presence in Britain almost as early as it appeared in Chicago ; however there was a strong divide between the House music as part of the gay scene that was pioneered by the influential Trade club in London with DJ's such as Tony De Vit and house music as part of the ' straight ' music scene.

When she awakens, all traces of what has happened have disappeared, and she is unable to convince San Francisco Police detectives Tony Carlson ( Chevy Chase ) and his partner Inspector " Fergie " Ferguson ( Brian Dennehy ) or even her landlord Mr. Hennessy ( Burgess Meredith ) that she was attacked.

When Tony and Fergie discover that the limousine is registered to the Archdiocese of San Francisco, they visit the office of Archbishop Thorncrest ( Eugene Roche ), unaware that the man they're interviewing is in fact the Archbishop's twin brother Charlie, who is involved in a plot to assassinate Pope Pius XIII ( played by prominent San Francisco businessman Cyril Magnin ) during his upcoming visit to San Francisco.

Sneaking into the basement, Tony discovers the imprisoned Fergie, who informs him that Stiltskin was hired by the Darrows to assassinate the Pope during a performance of The Mikado at the San Francisco Opera House that evening.

She is aided by Fergie, the Barbarian Red Ken and Wild Bill Gates, while Tony the Vampire Slayer battles the sorceress Thatcher and her masked assassin Archer.
