In 1982, Squire and White teamed up with South African rock guitarist and singer Trevor Rabin in a new band called Cinema.

Although Rabin and Squire initially shared lead vocals, Trevor Horn was brought into the project as a potential singer, but subsequently changed roles in order to become the band's producer.

A new supergroup project was then suggested involving Wetton, Wakeman, drummer Carl Palmer and ( then little known ) South African guitarist / singer Trevor Rabin, but Wakeman left this project too, shortly before they were due to sign to Geffen and before they had played together.

Two other players auditioned and considered during the band's formation were former The Move and ELO founder Roy Wood and the aforementioned guitarist / singer Trevor Rabin, who would go on to be part of a reformed Yes in 1983.

Trevor Rabin, formerly of Yes, composed the score, his first as a film music composer.

He rejoined a reformed Yes in 1983 which produced their most commercially successful album 90125 with newcomer Trevor Rabin.

Rodgers wrote the title track and was backed by guitarists Brian May, Gary Moore, David Gilmour, Jeff Beck, Steve Miller, Buddy Guy, Richie Sambora, Brian Setzer, Slash and Trevor Rabin.

The band began working on a fourth album, Pull, with session guitarists Buzz Feiten, Trevor Rabin, Doug Macaskill and Peter McRea.

Trevor Charles Rabin ( born 13 January 1954 ) is a South African born musician, best known as a guitarist, vocalist and songwriter for the British progressive rock band Yes 1982 – 1994, then as a film composer.

Howe continued with the band until Yes officially split up on 18 April 1981, only to see the band re-form in 1983 with Trevor Rabin on guitar.

Eventually, under pressure from both management and label, they all joined forces with the members of the " official " Yes ( which still included Anderson, plus Tony Kaye, Trevor Rabin, Chris Squire and Alan White ) as a " mega-Yes " lineup to record the album, Union, which was released in 1991.

The score by Trevor Rabin was released, but the soundtrack was not.

Mark Alan Mancina ( born March 9, 1957 in Santa Monica, California ) is a U. S. composer, primarily for Hollywood soundtracks, such as his collaboration with Trevor Rabin on the soundtrack for Con Air.

He toured with Rabin in support of Trevor Rabin's Can't Look Away album and then went on to produce tracks on the Yes album Union.

Rabbitt were a South African rock band formed in 1972, evolving from a band called The Conglomeration, consisting of members Trevor Rabin, Duncan Faure, Ronnie Robot, and Neil Cloud.
