On April 17, 2009, 99X returned to the regular analog airwaves, by simulcasting with broadcast translator station W250BC at 97. 9 FM.

The station was taken off-air when Q100 ( WWWQ ) was moved to 99. 7 from 100. 5 ( now WNNX ), but returned to W250BC FM 97. 9, and then moved to W256BJ FM 99. 1 ( which is now W255CJ FM 98. 9 ).

After the 2011 purchase of Citadel Broadcasting, its sister stations in Atlanta now include WKHX-FM 100. 5 and WYAY FM 106. 7, in addition to previous Cumulus holdings WWWQ FM 99. 7, WNNX FM 100. 5, and W250BC FM 97. 9.

Its former six-watt translator W250BC 97. 9 in Riverdale was sold for 100, 000 dollars to Extreme Media Group in November 2007, then to commercial broadcaster Cumulus Broadcasting in February 2009.

The station broadcasts from the same building as its other Cumulus Atlanta sister stations WWWQ (" Q100 "), W250BC (" Q100 20 @ 97-9 "), WKHX (" Kicks 101-5 "), and 99X in Sandy Springs near the Georgia Highway 400 and Interstate 285 interchange.

The owner has not yet applied to transfer the station to Cumulus, however the agreement reportedly sells the station for $ 150, 000 dollars, and requires it to be moved to the WWWQ / W250BC tower where it will be diplexed into the W250BC radio antenna at 99 watts on 99. 1, supposedly carrying the main WWWQ signal that is already transmitted from the same tower.

99X was reportedly set to move to this station, which had a construction permit granted in July 2010 to relocate to the same tower near North Druid Hills as WWWQ and W250BC, and has the same power but somewhat lower height ( and therefore broadcast range ) as 99X has on W250BC.

A few days later, W250BC then began stunting with different genres of music, as well as Atlanta news and history bits and periodic announcements that 99X had moved to the new frequency.

To reduce the visibility of interference between the chrominance signal and FM sound carrier required a slight reduction of the frame rate from 30 frames per second to 30 / 1. 001 ( approximately 29. 97 ) frames per second, and changing the line frequency from 15, 750 Hz to 15, 750 / 1. 001 Hz ( approximately 15, 734. 26 Hz ).

LBC currently operates two services in London-LBC 97. 3, a newstalk station on FM ; and LBC News 1152, a rolling news station on AM ; also, Talk 107 in Edinburgh.
