New Malden was established entirely as a result of the arrival of the railway when what is now called New Malden railway station was opened on 1 December 1846 on the main line from Waterloo.

An elevated walkway across Waterloo Road connects it to London Waterloo station and provides the main access ; the eastern ends of Waterloo East platforms have pedestrian connection to Southwark station on the London Underground Jubilee line ; at street level there is but a modest entrance in Sandell St ( not Wootton Street, as many sources claim ).

Esher railway station ( served by the Waterloo via Weybridge service ) connects the town to London Waterloo.

In addition to Clun Bridge there is also a ford further downstream, at Waterloo, which has recently been made usable to most motor vehicles, and a third crossing point, a footbridge just upstream of Clun Bridge, connects the town's main car park to the castle grounds.

I-380 connects the cities of Cedar Rapids and Waterloo, the second-and fifth-largest cities in the state, respectively, to the Interstate Highway System.

A little-used railway line even crossed the main concourse on the level and passed through an archway in the station building to connect to the South Eastern Railway's smaller station, now Waterloo East, whose tracks lie almost perpendicular to those of Waterloo.

The project's aims were to provide 18 new retail spaces and a champagne bar, reduce congestion on the concourse, and improve access to Waterloo East station by providing additional escalators leading to the high-level walkway between Waterloo and Waterloo East.

Adjacent to the main station is a through station called " Waterloo East ", the last stop on the South Eastern Main Line towards London before the terminus at Charing Cross.

Putney is serviced by mainline trains to Waterloo Station from Putney Station and by London Underground from East Putney.

The next church he designed was St Andrew's Hove, East Sussex, in Waterloo Street, Brunswick, ( 1827 – 28 ); the plan of the building is in line with Georgian architecture, though stylistically the Italianate style was used, the only classical church Barry designed that was actually built.

Trains run a high frequency service between Charing Cross and London Bridge calling at Waterloo East.

Over the next 22 years five other lines were built, across which all trains from Waterloo Station and Victoria Station ran.

The South Western Main Line of the former LSWR between London and Southampton was completed by Joseph Locke with easy gradients, leading to several cuttings, tunnels and embankments across the Loddon, Test and Itchen Valleys, with brick arches constructed across South London to the site of Waterloo station.

In October 2004, it moved into its custom-built facility on Caroline Street, across Silver Lake from Waterloo Park.

Special editions of TVO ’ s “ The Agenda with Steve Paikin ”, filmed live in PI ’ s Atrium in Waterloo attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers from across Canada with just five broadcasts.

In 1815, the Waterloo Bridge built by Thomas Telford to carry the A5 road across the River Conwy and through the village, brought considerable transport-related development.

Pall Mall is a street in the City of Westminster, London, and parallel to The Mall, from St. James's Street across Waterloo Place to the Haymarket ; while Pall Mall East continues into Trafalgar Square.

Vauxhall also has a railway station, with good connections to Waterloo and Clapham Junction and a large bus station with buses departing frequently to destinations all across London.

Grouchy was across the Dyle, but meanwhile the Battle of Waterloo by this time had been irrevocably lost, and the remnants of the Armėe du Nord were streaming south towards the safety of French territory.

On 8 May 2012 it was confirmed by the Transport Secretary Justine Greening through the DfT that the entire fleet of Class 456s will transfer across to South West Trains, where they will be used in conjunction with their Fleet on the London Inner Suburban lines. SWT will be using the 456's to enhance peak hour Waterloo-Woking, Guildford via Cobham ,& Kingston loop services from 8 to 10 coaches ,& to provide 2 additional morning peak services from Raynes Park to Waterloo. These changes will happen from December 2014, once platforms 1-5 at Waterloo have been extended.
