Nine produces several news bulletins and programmes, including Today, Weekend Today, as well as Nine Early Morning News, Nine Morning News, Nine Afternoon News and Nine News.

It produces the following bulletins / programs ; Breakfast, Meet The Press, The Bolt Report, as well as Ten Morning News, Ten News at Five, Ten Late News and Ten News at Five: Weekend.

Weekend bulletins are presented by Louise Momber and Ebbeny Faranda, with Peter Vlahos presenting sport.

Weekend local bulletins air from 8am to 12pm with headlines at 8: 30am and 9: 30am on Saturdays.

The Seven Network's Martin Place studios, referred to on-air as News Central and based on the first five floors of The Colonial Building in Sydney are the main news presentation studios from where national news bulletins, Seven News Sydney, Sunrise, Weekend Sunrise, The Morning Show and Today Tonight are broadcast.

Weekend editions are presented nationally from Network Ten's studios in Pyrmont, Sydney with separate bulletins for Perth.

Around the same time, local weekend bulletins were also axed from the network to be replaced by a 30 minute national bulletin from SydneyTen Weekend News, initially presented by John Gatfield and later by Natarsha Belling and Bill Woods.

Saturday Disney, which previously occupied the timeslot, immediately follows Weekend Sunrise.

Martial Arts Weekend, also released in 2002 under the band name The Extra Glenns, is a collaboration with Franklin Bruno on several previously unreleased Mountain Goats songs.
