On Saturday 6 November 2010, Blackburn replaced Dale Winton as the regular host of BBC Radio 2's Pick of the Pops programme.
Pick of the Pops then returned on a weekly basis in September 2005, on Sunday afternoons 15. 30 – 17. 00 with Winton at the helm and one archive chart a week.
