Robert ( Bob ) Craig Wright ( September 25, 1914 – July 27, 2005 ) was an American composer-lyricist for Hollywood and the musical theatre best known for the Broadway musical and musical film Kismet, for which he and his professional partner George Forrest adapted themes by Alexander Borodin and added lyrics.

Wright and Forrest had an affinity for adapting classical music themes and adding lyrics to these themes for Hollywood and the Broadway musical stage.

In December 1922, Wright prepared plans for the Otto Bollman House in Hollywood that included a repeated pattern of concrete blocks, a precursor to his father's more famous " textile block " houses in the Los Angeles area.

Wright designed and built a number of houses in the Hollywood and Los Feliz districts of Los Angeles in the mid-to late 1920s.

Hollywood Confidential ran a story entitled " Mae West's Open Door Policy " alleging her relationship with Wright.

The design is based on ancient Mayan temples and along with other buildings by Frank Lloyd Wright, such as the A. D. German Warehouse in Wisconsin and Aline Barnsdall Hollyhock House in Hollywood, the Ennis House is sometimes referred to as an example of the Mayan Revival architecture.

In the early fifties, Busch and Wright divorced, and Busch left Hollywood for northern California, where he devoted himself to cattle ranching and the full-time writing of novels.
