Holt Park has bus services operated by First Leeds ( formerly Yorkshire Rider ), particularly Route 1 " Brown Line " which runs from the shopping centre, through Weetwood, Headingley, Leeds University, Leeds city centre and terminates in the South Leeds area of Beeston.

South Yorkshire is an amalgamation of 32 former local government districts from the former administrative counties of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, the West Riding of Yorkshire, and four independent county boroughs.

An extensive bus service is provided by several operators under the guidance of the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive.
Buses go to Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and other West Yorkshire towns from bus stops in the vicinity of the Town Hall.
