Al-Musta ' sim Billah ( full name: al-Musta ' sim-Billah Abu-Ahmad Abdullah bin al-Mustansir-Billah ; ; 1213 – February 20, 1258 ) was the last Abbasid Caliph in Baghdad ; he ruled from 1242 until his death.

# Sultan Abu Bakar Riayatuddin Al-Muadzam Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Abdullah Al-Mutassim Billah Shah ( Sultan of Pahang ; 1932 – 1974 );

Born Tengku Ahmad Shah, he was the only son of Sultan Sir Abu Bakar Riayatuddin Al-Muadzam Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Abdullah Al-Mutassimu Billah Shah ( reigned 1932 – 1974 ) by his official and royal consort, Tengku Ampuan Besar Fatimah binti Almarhum Sultan Sir Alang Iskandar Shah II Kaddasullah.

In full, Sultan Abu Bakar Riayatuddin Al-Muadzam Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Abdullah Al-Mutassim Billah Shah GCMG, ( May 29, 1904 – May 7, 1974 ), was the fourth sultan of modern Pahang in Malaysia.

During the seven years of his 19, 000-kilometre journey ( 1046 – 1052 ), Nasir visited Mecca four times, and performed all the rites and observances of a zealous pilgrim ; but he was far more attracted by Cairo, the capital of Egypt, and the residence of the Fatimid caliph-imam Ma ' ad al-Mustansir Billah, the Imam of the Ismaili Shi ' a Muslims, which was just then waging a deadly war against the Abbasid caliph of Baghdad, and Toghrul Beg the Seljuk, the great defender of the Sunni creed.

Qarmaṭ became a missionary of the new Imām, Ubayd Allah al-Mahdi Billah ( 873 – 934 ), who founded the Fatimid Caliphate in North Africa in 909.

# Nizare nil Aziz ibn Moad ‐ al Moiz / Abu Mansoor Nizar al-Aziz Billah ( 975 – 996 )

He served the Fatimid Caliph-Imam Ma ' ad al-Mustansir Billah as a da ‘ i in varying capacities, eventually attaining the highest rank of Bab al-Abwab " The Gate of gates " and Da ‘ i ad – Du ‘ at " Chief Missionary " in the Fatimid Da ‘ wah.

Abu Mansur Nizar al-Aziz Billah, commonly al-Aziz ( 955 – 996 ) () was the fifth Caliph of the Fatimids ( 975 – 996 ).

It was further repaired, renovated and extended by Al-Mustansir Billah and Al-Hafiz Li-Din-illah.

By 1072 the Fatimid Caliph Abū Tamīm Ma ' ad al-Mustansir Billah in a desperate attempt to save Egypt recalled the general Badr al-Jamali, who was at the time the governor of Acre, Palestine.

Whether his trip was of a military or peaceful nature depends on whether it took place before or after the 1036 peace treaty between Michael IV and Caliph Ma ' ad al-Mustansir Billah.

It was the 15th Fatimid / Ismaili / Dawoodi Bohra Imam Abu Mansoor Nizar al-Aziz Billah ( d. 386 AH / 996 ) who traced the site of the head of his great-grandfather through the office of his contemporary in Baghdad, in 985.

He was succeeded by Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah, his eldest son.

Born at Istana Hinggap, Pekan Lama, he was the second son of Sultan Abdullah Al-Mutassim Billah Shah by his wife, Che Kalsom binti Tun Abdullah.

He was known to own two slaves, a woman named Hannah and her daughter Billah.

IIUM was officially established on 23 May 1983 when the University received its ' Establishment Order ' from His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta ' in Billah, after an exchange of Diplomatic Notes of co-sponsorship between the Government of Malaysia and a number of Muslim Governments as well as the OIC.

It was after this victory that he took the title al-Mansur Billah (" Made Victorious by God ").

Mu ' ayyad fi ' l-Din al-Shirazi gradually worked his way up the hierarchy of the da ‘ wa and was eventually appointed Chief Missionary under the Caliph-Imam al-Mustansir Billah.

After his father Ubayd Allah al-Mahdi Billah ( 910-934 ) seized power in Ifriqiya he was named heir to the throne in 912, and helped put down several revolts.

By 1027, Mahmud had accomplished this as well as capturing most of modern-day North-Western India as well as obtaining formal recognition of Ghazni's sovereignty from the Abbasid Khalifah, al-Qadir Billah, as well as the title of Yameen-ud Daula.

Ibn al-Aftas added to his name the Laqab al-Mansur Billah, Victorious by Grace of God, and ruled over an extensive part of the Al Garb Al Andalus, from the Douro river to the south of Tagus river, establishing the taifa of Badajoz.

The status of the Mandaeans became an issue for the Abbasid al-Qahir Billah.

The reconstruction took place during the reign of the Caliph Ma ' ad al-Mustansir Billah.

Desperate to conquer Constantinople, Simeon planned a large campaign in 924 and sent envoys to the Fatimid caliph Ubayd Allah al-Mahdi Billah, who possessed a powerful navy which Simeon needed.

Commander of the Fatimid forces Dai Badrul ’ jamali ( d. 487 / 1095 ) conquered Palestine, during the period of 18th Fatimid Imam Ma ' ad al-Mustansir Billah ( d. 487 / 1094 ).

Under the instructions of the Fatimid Imam Ma ' ad al-Mustansir Billah, Badrul ’ jamali constructed a mosque and donated several huge properties to meet the expenditure of the ' Trust ', so as to maintain the affairs of the Mashhad the place of burial.

In 1998, on the death of her stepson, Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah, she became Tengku Ampuan Tua ( Grand Dowanger Queen ) of Terengganu.

In 1974, when Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Mustain Billah ibni Almarhum Sultan Sir Abu Bakar Riayatuddin Al-Muadzam Shah ascended to the throne, she became his Queen or Tengku Ampuan.

Baqi Billah Berang ( No 24 in the Naqshbandi Golden Chain ) is credited for bringing the order to India.
