Vinko Žganec ( January 22, 1890-December 12, 1976 ) was a well-known Croatian ethnomusicologist.

Žganec was born in Vratišinec in Međimurje.

Portions of the work by renowned ethnomusicologist Vinko Žganec was done here since he was the native of neighboring Vratišinec.
