" The Curate of Ars " ( usually in French: Le Curé d ' Ars ) is a style often used to refer to Saint Jean Vianney, a French parish priest canonized on account of his piety and simplicity of life.

It has been practiced by such as Peter Julian Eymard, Jean Vianney and Thérèse of Lisieux.

The adoration of the Eucharist within France grew in this period and there were interactions between Catholic figures who were enthusiastic about spreading the Eucharist e. g. Leo Dupont, Saint Jean Vianney and Saint Peter Julian Eymard, who in 1858 formed the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament.

His contemporary, Saint Jean Vianney also performed Eucharistic meditations and books on his meditations have also been published.

Preachers such as Prosper Guéranger, Peter Julian Eymard and Jean Vianney very effective in renewing such devotions.

The Eucharistic meditations of the two Saints Pierre Julien Eymard and Jean Vianney ( both promoters of the Eucharist ) were published as books.

Jean Marie Vianney Higiro, born c. 1945, was the Director of the Rwandan Information Office ( ORINFOR ), a government corporation that run Radio Rwanda, Rwandan Television and state controlled media in the Republic of Rwanda.
