Joachim I Nestor ( 21 February 1484 – 11 July 1535 ) was a Prince-elector of the Margraviate of Brandenburg ( 1499 – 1535 ).

Between 1531 and 1535 he served Cardinal Ippolito de ' Medici, who died in 1535.

In 1535, a delegation of Florentine nobles, which included the Pazzi family who previously conspired to assassinate Lorenzo de ' Medici and was headed by Alessandro ’ s cousin Ippolito de ' Medici, sought to gain the assistance of Emperor Charles V & I to depose Alessandro.
