Combichrist is a Norwegian aggrotech band formed in 2003 by Norwegian Andy LaPlegua, who also founded the bands Icon of Coil, Panzer AG, Scandinavian Cock, and Scandy.

Combichrist's song Never Surrender was featured in a gameplay demo for the upcoming hack-n-slash style video game DmC Devil May Cry with Andy LaPlegua working on the soundtrack for the whole game.

Taking the Industrial Revolution as its model, Factory Records played upon Manchester's traditions, invoking at once apparently incongruous images of the industrial north and the glamorous pop art world of Andy Warhol.

The group's choice of producers, engineers and mixers has also been varied ; Swedish extreme metal figures Dan Swanö ( Unisound ), Peter Tägtgren ( Abyss Studios ) and Fredrik Nordström ( Studio Fredman ), German producers Andy Classen ( Asphyx, Belphegor ) Siggi Bemm ( Therion, Theatre of Tragedy ) and Waldemar Sorychta ( Lacuna Coil, The Gathering ) as well as Xytras ( Samael percussionist / keyboardist ) have all contributed to production on the band's albums.
