As part of the continuity changes which followed The Man of Steel and Superman: Secret Origin, Luthor is shown actively participating in the creation of three Superman villains, Parasite ( indirectly ), Bizarro ( the failed result of an attempt to clone Superman ), and the cyborg Metallo.

Also, the most memorable moment is in " The Bizarro Jerry ": she shoves Kevin to the ground, helping end her friendship with the bizarro group.

Superman then manages to figure out with help from the Justice League computer that Blue Kryptonite may reverse the aging process because Blue Kryptonite is harmful to Bizarro and therefore should be helpful to Superman.

Bizarro is a fictional character who appears in comic books published by DC Comics.

The copy, quickly labeled " Bizarro ", is a flawed imitation as it possesses chalky white skin and childlike erratic behavior.

The Bizarro that is created, however, is confused, stating: " Me not human ... me not creature ... me not even animal!

Bizarro's influence is also felt on Earth: Jimmy Olsen is inadvertently turned into a Bizarro for a time, and a new teen version of Bizarro travels to the 30th century, attempting to join the Legion of Super-Heroes.

However, wrongfully starting from the assumption that Superman is a human with metahuman abilities ( his alien origin had not yet been publicly revealed ), the process results in a flawed copy, which Luthor sneeringly dubs " Bizarro " and orders disposed.

During the Infinite Crisis, Bizarro is tricked into joining the reformed Secret Society of Super Villains by Flash's foe Zoom, and during a battle with superteam the Freedom Fighters accidentally kills the Human Bomb, constantly hitting the hero to observe the flashes of light that are produced from the kinetic energy of the blows.

After creating a cube shaped planet, filled with abstract versions of various buildings and locations on Earth, Bizarro is still lonely.

Bizarro eventually visits the grave of a deceased Jonathan Kent, and is then sent ( by rogue Kryptonians ) with other Superman foes to the inter-dimensional prison, the Phantom Zone.

The Bizarro Supergirl takes the heroes hostage, but is ultimately defeated in battle by the real Supergirl.

It is revealed that the Bizarro Supergirl is a refugee from the cube-shaped Bizarro World, and was sent to Earth by her cousin after their planet was attacked by a being known as the Godship.

Bizarro also appeared in a chapter of the Blackest Night storyline in Superman / Batman # 66-67 ( Jan .-Feb. 2010 ).

A boxset was released in 2008 featuring Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and a remoulded Bizarro.

In the post-Crisis issue Superman / Batman # 25, it was revealed that the Joker had gained Fifth Dimensional powers by maintaining the essence of Mr. Mxyzptlk from the earlier " Emperor Joker " storyline ; at the end, Bizarro was able to extract this latent magical essence from the Joker, which manifested in a form recognizable as Bat-Mite.

The Batman Beyond concept became DC Comics canon in the pages of Superman / Batman issues 22 and 23, wherein Bizarro is transported to an alternate reality somewhere in Hypertime which resembled the Batman Beyond-era Gotham City, with Batman Beyond in action with the 1999 animated black-and-red costume and the 1992 Batplane from the original animated series.

Thanks to the time-traveling efforts of Bizarro in Superman / Batman # 24, Cir-El is able to join Linda Danvers, Kara Zor-El ( both Modern Age and Pre-Crisis versions ) and Power Girl to rescue Superman from the Source Wall.

On a different note, issue # 22 of DC Comics ' Superman / Batman series, which explores alternate realities, had Bizarro transported to an alternate version of Gotham City patrolled by a Batman using the Batman Beyond version of the costume.

Superman also encounters Bizarro versions of his fellow heroes, such as Bizarro Green Lantern ( whose ring allows him to create anything he thinks of, which he doesn't ), Bizarro Flash ( who is extremely slow and appears to take an entire issue to get to a certain point ), Bizarro Batman ( who was shot by his parents ) and Bizarro Wonder Woman ( who is an ugly fat woman that turned to clay ).

However, a subsequent preview from San Diego Comic-Con International instead revealed Superman as a manatee named Supermanate, Batman as a mouse, Wonder Woman as a wombat named Wonder Wombat, Flash as a fish, Green Lantern as a warthog, Aquaman as a mandrill named Aquamandrill, Captain Marvel as a pig, Robin as a robin egg with legs, Cyborg as a bug named Cybug, Darkseid as a duck, Joker as a fish, Catwoman as a cat, Mister Mxyzptlk as a chicken, Solomon Grundy as a rabbit, Two-Face as a bull, Bizarro as a dog, Captain Cold as a shark, Sinestro as a hippo, and Lex Luthor as a liger named Lex Liger, but will also feature other DC characters as animals including Animal Man as a monkey and other animal versions of him, Beast Boy as a monkey and other animal versions of him, B ' wana Beast as a bear named B ' wana Bear, Black Manta as a manta ray, Brainiac as a yak named Braini-Yak, Gorilla Grodd as a gorilla, Martian Manhunter as a vulture, Nightwing as a bat, Batgirl as a fox, Supergirl as a rabbit, Wonder Girl as a pig, Raven as a raven, Black Canary as a canary, Green Arrow as a hawk, Huntress as a leopard, Power Girl as a pig, Lobo as a wolf, Harley Quinn as an octopus, Poison Ivy as a snake, Mr. Freeze as a polar bear, Penguin as a penguin, Riddler as a chameleon, Scarecrow as a tiger, Killer Croc as a crocodile, Cheetah as a cheetah, Captain Boomerang as a kangaroo, Hawkman as a hawk, Captain Atom as a flea or an elephant, and other DC heroes and villains as animals including monkeys, dogs, cats, horses, dolphins, bears, pigs, rabbits, birds, fish, bugs, etc.

Several alternate universe versions of the character exist: the Silver Age Bizarro appears in Justice as a member of the Legion of Doom ; one-shot The Superman Monster ( 1999 ), essentially a Frankenstein pastiche features a monstrous copy of Bizarro created by a Viktor Luthor ; one-shot Superman: Red Son ( 2004 ) features a " Superman 2 " created by genius Lex Luthor for the United States to stop the Soviet-based Superman ; and Lex Luthor creates Bizarro-like duplicates called " Liberators " in the limited series JLA: The Nail ( 1998 ).

Development of the Floorless Coaster began between 1995 and 1996 with Medusa ( now known as Bizarro ) at Six Flags Great Adventure opening on April 2, 1999, making it the world's first Floorless Coaster.

DC writer-editor E. Nelson Bridwell credits Binder as creating the first " Imaginary Tale, for Lois Lane ," and of writing " most of the early " Bizarro stories, including at least the first " Tales of the Bizarro World " feature.

The Bizarro World ( also known as Htrae ) is a fictional planet in the DC comics universe.

The DC Universe Halloween Special 2009 features several stories showcasing Bizarro World.

Outside mainstream DC continuity, All-Star Superman # 7-8 featured the return of Htrae and Bizarro, in which the sentient cubic Htrae attacked Earth until Superman interfered.

The concept of " Bizarro " has been ingrained in popular culture where it has come to mean a weirdly mutilated version of anything, not confined to characters in DC Comics publications and as such, so has the concept of Bizarro World.
