With the development of the Red Bridge Subdivision south of Kansas City, Missouri, the developer was faced with the problem of providing adequate sewage disposal.

The sewage system from Kansas City was not expected to serve the Red Bridge area for several years.

The ferries, along with the nearby Tamar Bridge, are operated by the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry Joint Committee, which is jointly owned by Plymouth City Council and Cornwall Council.

In 1869 the Hannibal Bridge at Kansas City was built and allowed connection to the Kansas Pacific Railway.

The H & SJ finished the Hannibal Bridge which was the first bridge to cross the Missouri River in July 1869 in Kansas City.

* High Bridge, part of the former Croton Aqueduct, built in 1848, is the oldest surviving bridge in New York City.

The GLA is based at City Hall, a new building on the south bank of the River Thames, next to Tower Bridge.

Major bus depots include the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 42nd Street, the George Washington Bridge Bus Station, and the Journal Square Transportation Center in Jersey City.

The NTIs create enormous megatsunami-level waves that threaten every coastline, including New York City ( shown by the Statue of Liberty and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge ) and San Francisco ( shown by the Golden Gate Bridge ), but then stall them moments before they would come crashing down.

The oldest bridge still in use is the Levensau High Bridge from 1893 ; however, the bridge will have to be replaced in the course of a canal expansion already underway.

Most noteworthy is the “ hanging ferry ” () beneath the Rendsburg High Bridge.

Rock Bridge High School is a public high school located in southern Columbia, Missouri.

Rock Bridge High School has a planetarium ( Room 303 ) where the school conducts star shows for all ages as well as students at RBHS and other schools as well.

The elevated Charlestown High Bridge, on the right, has since been demolished.

An important market occupied the High Street from some time in the 13th century, which was controlled by the City's officers — it was later removed in order to improve traffic to the Bridge, under a separate Trust by Act of Parliament of 1756 as the Borough Market on the present site.

Borough High Street runs roughly north to south from London Bridge towards Elephant and Castle.

Örnsköldsvik is situated near the northern end of the " High Coast ", which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has the third longest suspension bridge in Europe, the Höga Kusten Bridge.

When he returned to Newcastle, he designed a rotary engine powered by water, and this was built in the High Bridge works of his friend Henry Watson.

The town centre is small, basically consisting of two streets: High Street, which runs south from the Market Place towards the Townsend Retail Park, and the pedestrianised Town Street which runs north from the Market Place to Waterloo Bridge.
