Forever Changes is the third album by American rock band Love, released by Elektra Records in November 1967.

"' Forever Changes ' made only a minor dent on the charts when it was first released in 1967, but years later it became recognized as one of the finest and most haunting albums to come out of the Summer of Love, which doubtless has as much to do with the disc's themes and tone as the music, beautiful as it is ," wrote Mark Deming in an entry for the online Allmusic guide.

" Lee also noted that since the name of the band was Love, the full title was " Love Forever Changes ".

"... Arthur's genius lay in his ability to imagine songs, with fully formed lyrics and melodies ," wrote John Einarson in " Forever Changes: Arthur Lee and the Book of Love ," an authorized biography on Lee that was released in 2010.

" Forever Changes " was included in its entirety on the 2-CD retrospective Love compilation " Love Story 1966-1972 ", released by Rhino Records in 1995.

Rather than being a loose collection of individual, insular songs, the record is an expansive, interlocking work unified by lush strings, acoustic guitars and lyrical content often based on the group's name and album title ( when the words ' Love Forever Changes ' are connected in that order ).

The Dr. No comic strip was reprinted in 2005 by Titan Books as part of the Dr. No anthology that also includes Diamonds Are Forever and From Russia, with Love.

In 2002 Michael Stuart ( now Michael Stuart-Ware ), the drummer on Da Capo and Forever Changes, wrote the acclaimed book Behind the Scenes on the Pegasus Carousel with the Legendary Rock Group Love.

Love have also influenced many 1960s inspired Top 40 UK acts, including The Stone Roses, The Bluetones, Shack, The Stands, Primal Scream and Ricky, whose mini-album, You Set The Scene was named after a song on Forever Changes.

The next two albums, Gold und Liebe ( Gold and Love ) and Für immer ( Forever ), continued in the same vein, until, as one British music journalist of the time put it, D. A. F.

After Diamonds are Forever had been published, Fleming received a letter from a thirty-one-year-old Bond enthusiast and gun expert, Geoffrey Boothroyd, criticising the author's choice of firearm for Bond: his suggestions came too late to be included in From Russia, with Love, but one of Boothroyd's guns – a. 38 Smith & Wesson snub-nosed revolver modified with one third of the trigger guard removed – was used as the model for Chopping's image.

The From Russia, with Love comic strip was reprinted in 2005 by Titan Books in the Dr. No anthology, which also included Diamonds Are Forever and Casino Royale.
