Khalid Hassanali, son of former President of Trinidad and Tobago, Noor Hassanali, is a Vice-President for Corporate Administrative Services at Petrotrin, the Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago ( a state-owned oil company ).

He was succeeded by Noor Hassanali.

A retired High Court judge, President Hassanali was the first Indo-Trinidadian to hold the office of President and was the first Muslim head of state in the Americas.

The sixth of seven children, Hassanali was born in San Fernando and was educated at Canaan and Corinth Canadian Mission ( now Presbyterian ) Primary Schools and Naparima College.

Noor Hassanali worked as a lawyer in private practice from 1948 to 1953, when he was appointed as a Magistrate.

He is married to Jean Ramjohn, an anesthesiologist and cousin of the former President Noor Hassanali.

Manny Ramjohn was the cousin of former President of Trinidad and Tobago Noor Hassanali and of the present First Lady Dr. Jean Ramjohn-Richards wife of President George Maxwell Richards.

Hassanali is also a member of the board of the following: the National Institute of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology ( NIHERST ), the Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Co ( PLIPDECO ), Metal Industries Company ( MIC ) and ANSA McAL Chemicals Ltd.

Hassanali has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies, a Master of Science in Systems Planning and Optimisation from the University of London and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London.

She is a cousin of former President Noor Hassanali and Olympian Manny Ramjohn.

Sultan Ahmed III had become unpopular by reason of the excessive pomp and costly luxury in which he and his principal officers indulged ; on September 20, 1730, a mutinous riot of seventeen janissaries, led by the Albanian Patrona Halil, was aided by the citizens as well as the military until it swelled into an insurrection in front of which the Sultan was forced to give up the throne.

His name at birth was Ahmed Shah ; he took the name " Massoud " as a nom de guerre when he went into the resistance movement in 1974.

A former law student and muezzin, Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Nami ( Arabic: أحمد بن عبد الله النامي, ; also transliterated as Alnami ) < span dir =" ltr ">( December 7, 1977 – September 11, 2001 )</ span > was one of four hijackers of United Airlines Flight 93 as part of the September 11 attacks.

In March 2001, Ahmed al-Nami appeared in an al-Qaeda farewell video showing 13 of the muscle hijackers before they left their training centre in Kandahar ; while he does not speak, he is seen studying maps and flight manuals.

Ahmed II Khan Ghazi ( Ottoman Turkish: احمد ثانى Aḥmed-i < u > s </ u > ānī ) < span dir =" ltr ">( February 25, 1643 – February 6, 1695 )</ span > was the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 1691 to 1695.

In the summer of 1470 ( other sources give 1469 ), the last prominent Khan, Ahmed, organized an attack against Moldavia, the Kingdom of Poland, and Lithuania.

After seeking refuge in Lithuania, Sheikh Ahmed, last Khan of the Horde, died in prison in Kaunas some time after 1504.
