Pétion was one of those who escaped to Caen and raised the standard of provincial insurrection against the Convention ; and, when the Norman rising failed, he fled with Marguerite-Élie Guadet, François Nicolas Leonard Buzot, Charles Jean Marie Barbaroux, Jean-Baptiste de la Salle and Jean-Baptiste Louvet de Couvrai to the Gironde, where they were sheltered by a wigmaker of Saint Emilion.

Louvet was first brought into notice as a politician by his Paris justifié, in reply to a truly incendiary pamphlet in which Jean Joseph Mounier, after the removal of King Louis XVI from the Palace of Versailles to Paris in October 1789, had attacked the capital ( which was still relatively peaceful ), and argued that the court should be established elsewhere.

Although there are seven other types of annual awards presented by the Academy ( the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, the Gordon E. Sawyer Award, the Scientific and Engineering Award, the Technical Achievement Award, the John A. Jean Beleth, a 12th-century liturgical author, gives the following list of books necessary for the right conduct of the canonical office: the Antiphonarium, the Old and New Testaments, the Passionarius ( liber ) and the Legendarius ( dealing respectively with martyrs and saints ), the Homiliarius ( homilies on the Gospels ), the Sermologus ( collection of sermons ) and the works of the Fathers, besides, of course, the Psalterium and the Collectarium.

After her husband ( Ernest Hoschedé ) became bankrupt, and left in 1878 for Belgium, and after the death of Camille Monet in September 1879, and while Monet continued to live in the house in Vétheuil ; Alice Hoschedé ( 1844-1911 ), helped Monet to raise his two sons, Jean and Michel, by taking them to Paris to live alongside her own six children.

She had three children, a daughter ( who went to live at the Dominican Abbey in Poissy in 1397 as a companion to the king's daughter, Marie ), a son Jean, and another child who died in childhood.
