To everyone's surprise, Overkill then hired Joe Comeau, former singer of Liege Lord ( now playing guitar ).

A few months later, Joe Comeau was confirmed as his replacement, effectively ending his tenure with Overkill.

Since Overkill had not found a new second guitarist yet, Joe Comeau joined on a temporary basis for the tour.

On March 9, 2006, Tad Morose announced their new frontman-American metal legionnaire Joe Comeau, formerly of Liege Lord, Overkill and Annihilator.

Thus, Joe Comeau is no longer in the band.

Joe Comeau replaced him on vocals, while Curran Murphy replaced Davis on guitar and Randy Black rejoined on drums.

Stanton was then replaced in 1974 for a brief period, by Bob Flurie, who was a well known east coast virtuoso guitar player, who was called upon for this brief period to take on bass player duties ( the trio of Aceves, Stanton and Flurie were later to be found in another great San Francisco band formed by ex-Country Joe and the Fish guitar player, Barry " the Fish " Melton ) after which the group disbanded.
