* London Arts Group: Located in a large portion of the third floor of the Fisher Building during the 1970s and 1980s, London Fine Arts Group acted as an internationally recognized publishing company assisting in producing limited edition art works for many internationally recognized artists including Yaacov Agam, Karel Appel, Arman, Romare Bearden, Gene Davis, Don Eddy, Alberto Giacometti, Ian Hornak, Lester Johnson, Alex Katz, Richard Lindner, Roberto Matta, Lowell Nesbitt, Robert Rauschenberg, Donald Sultan, Victor Vasarely and Larry Zox.

The Albertina, Vienna, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, hold complete collections of Katz print oeuvre.

In 2011, Katz donated Rush ( 1971 ), a series of 37 painted life-size cutout heads on aluminum, to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston ; the pieces installed frieze-like in its own space.

Katz was inducted by the American Academy of Arts and Letters in 1988, and recognized with honorary doctorates by Colby College, Maine ( 1984 ) and Colgate University, Hamilton, New York, ( 2005 ).

At the turn of the 21st century, well-established artists such as Sir Anthony Caro, Lucian Freud, Cy Twombly, Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns, Agnes Martin, Al Held, Ellsworth Kelly, Helen Frankenthaler, Frank Stella, Kenneth Noland, Jules Olitski, Claes Oldenburg, Jim Dine, James Rosenquist, Alex Katz, Philip Pearlstein, and younger artists including Brice Marden, Chuck Close, Sam Gilliam, Isaac Witkin, Sean Scully, Mahirwan Mamtani, Joseph Nechvatal, Elizabeth Murray, Larry Poons, Richard Serra, Walter Darby Bannard, Larry Zox, Ronnie Landfield, Ronald Davis, Dan Christensen, Joel Shapiro, Tom Otterness, Joan Snyder, Ross Bleckner, Archie Rand, Susan Crile, and dozens of others continued to produce vital and influential paintings and sculpture.

Cook then went on to be a member of numerous other acts including Freak Power, Pizzaman and The Mighty Dub Katz to moderate success.

Before his death, Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department had several outstanding warrants against Katz, including jumping bail and the automobile operation charges Operating While Intoxicated and Operating After Revocation.
