The states New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Utah come together at the Four Corners in the northwestern corner of New Mexico.

The organization of the Methodist church was also at Westfield Corners.

There is one police station, three fire stations ( near Five Corners, Easton Green and North Easton ), three post offices ( near Easton Green, near Five Corners, and in North Easton ) and one library ( Ames Free Library, at the center of North Easton ).

In 1811, Col. Joseph Durfee, the Revolutionary War veteran and hero of the Battle of Freetown in 1778 built the Globe Manufactory ( a spinning mill ) at the outlet of Cook Pond on Dwelly St. near what is now Globe Four Corners in the city's South End.

The other site for that event is the historic bandstand at the Assonet Four Corners, built in the 1930s on the site of the former Green Dragon Tavern.
