Admiral of the Fleet Louis Francis Albert Victor Nicholas George Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma ( born Prince Louis of Battenberg ; 25 June 1900 – 27 August 1979 ), was a British statesman and naval officer, an uncle of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and second cousin once removed to Elizabeth II.

His maternal grandparents were Louis IV, Grand Duke of Hesse, and Princess Alice of the United Kingdom, who was a daughter of Queen Victoria and Albert, Prince Consort.

Though the Astros were poised to close out the series in Game Five in Houston, Brad Lidge gave up a monstrous two-out three-run home run to Albert Pujols, forcing the series to a sixth game in St. Louis, where the Astros clinched a World Series appearance.

The French king's great-grandson Louis ( 1710 – 74 ) was, from 1712, the first heir-general of Albert VII.

Central Intelligence Group ( CIG ), the third Director of Central Intelligence ( DCI ), and the first director of the Central Intelligence Agency created by the National Security Act of 1947.

He went on to earn a law degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1897.
