Pershore Abbey, at Pershore in Worcestershire, was an Anglo-Saxon abbey and is now an Anglican parish church.
From the early 12th century, there is evidence that Pershore Abbey claimed possession of some of the relics of Saint Eadburh of Winchester, the sainted daughter of King Edward the Elder.
Following her canonisation in 972, some of her remains were transferred to Pershore Abbey in Worcestershire, which is dedicated to her.

The town is best known for Pershore Abbey, Pershore College ( now a campus of Warwickshire College ), and the plums and pears grown locally.

Buses run to Birmingham city centre every few minutes along the Pershore Road ( Services 45, 47 & 146 ).
Where Pershore Road joins Hazelwell Road and Bournville lane there is the Three Horseshoes public house which already existed in 1836, there is also a large Cooperative store and a Cooperative Funeral home these were originally the Ten Acres & Stirchley Street Coperative Soiciety which first opened in 1875.
