In 2010 a selection of his poetry was translated into English by Francesco Lavato, executive director of the Poetry Center in Chicago, and published in the volume Creaturing presented in New York ( Columbia University, Bowery Poetry Club ), Minneapolis ( Open Book ), St Paul ( Macalester College ), Chicago ( University of Illinois, Istituto Italiano di Cultura ), Grosse Pointe / Detroit ( Ewald Library ), San Diego ( San Diego State University ) and Santa Crux ( Felik Kulpa Art Gallery ).

In 1979, she took a position at the San Francisco State University Poetry Center, which exposed her to many of the leading proponents of language poetry.

He was also a former California State Speech champion in the early nineties in an event called Original Prose & Poetry.

In 2011, the team took home 5th place in Original Prose and Poetry at the CHSSA State Championships, as well as spots in the top 20 and 16 in Lincoln Douglas and Parliamentary Debate respectively.
