Faculty of Management and Human Resource Development

It was founded on 24 July 1919 and now consists of five faculties and one institute-the Faculty of Agronomy, Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, Faculty of Business and Economics, Faculty of Horticulture, Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies and Institute of Lifelong Education.

The Faculty of Education and Humanities runs Master of Psychology programmes specializing in Social Psychology, Theoretical and Clinical Psychoanalysis, Clinical Psychology specializing in Family and Couples Therapy, and Cognitive Development specializing in Dynamic Learning Propensity Assessment Device ; Postgraduate courses in Clinical Psychoanalysis specializing in Adults, Clinical Psychology: Specialist in Transpersonal Humanist Psychotherapy, Psychomotricity, Specialist in Juvenile-Infant Clinical Psychology ; Specialist Programmes in Education ( Language and Communication, English as a Foreign Language, Artistic Education, Mathematical Education, Nature Study, Social Studies and Physical Education ); and Diplomas in Juridical and Forensic Psychology and an International Diploma in Sports Psychology.

The Faculties Economics and Business joined with the Faculty of Engineering through their Graduate Schools have developed an MBA programme with dual degree in Universitat Pompeu Fabra with specializations in Finance, Human Resources, Strategic Communication, Marketing and Quality Control and a Master in Finance ; Masters programmes in Educational Management, Organizational Development and Behaviour, Information Technology Management, Systems Administration and Business Administration.

In consequence, the Centre for Juridical Research of the Faculty of Law has made significant contributions towards the Penal Procedures Reform which is being implemented throughout the country ; whilst two other Centres belonging to the Faculty of Humanities and Education ( Cognitive Development Centre ) and the Faculty of Communication and Letters ( Journalism and Advertising Research Centre, CIPP ) are implementing programmes of public interest in the areas of cognitive development, community strengthening and the role of the communications media in society.

* The Faculty of Arts ( Literature, Linguistics ), Faculty of Health and Social Science, Faculty of Education and Sport, School of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Applied Social Science, Centre for Nursing and Midwifery Research, International Health Development and Research Centre, Social Science Policy and Research Centre, School of Education, Education Research Centre, the Centre for Learning and Teaching and the Brighton and Sussex Medical School are all based on this campus.

The Faculty ’ s Centre for Research and Development ( CRD ) supports research of international significance and resulted in Sixty-five per cent of research in art and design being classified as either ' world leading ' or ' internationally excellent ' in the Research Assessment Exercise RAE2008.

Budgeted at $ 55. 5 million, the Renewal Project received $ 34. 4 million in funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation and British Columbia Knowledge Development Fund ($ 17. 2 million each ), plus from The University of British Columbia, UBC Faculty of Arts, and the Museum itself.

The Centre for International Sustainable Development Law ( CISDL ), although not formally affiliated with McGill University, is associated with the Faculty of Law and has its head office there.

At the Master's level, the Faculty of Economics is host to the Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program.

LASPAU: Academic and Professional Programs for the Americas administers the Junior Faculty Development Program, a part of the Fulbright Foreign Student Program, for grantees from Central and South America and the Caribbean.

It houses parts of the postgraduate program, the Faculty of Law ( Master of Law Science and Law Science Doctoral Program ), Faculty of Economics ( Extension and Master of Management programs ) and the Faculty of Engineering ( laboratories ).

In addition to the Faculty ( university ) of Arts, Engineering, and Science, the Division of Continuing Studies offers undergraduate and graduate level programs including the “ Officer Professional Military Education Program ” ( OPME ).

Whittier College's Faculty Masters Program, modeled after similar programs at Oxford and Cambridge universities, delivers another optional learning experience for students.

Students who successfully complete the Academic Bridging Program are admitted to the Faculty of Arts and Science, at the University of Toronto, with one full credit towards their degree.

Woodsworth oversees the Visiting Student Program in the Faculty of Arts and Science.

Through the Faculty in Residence Program, each year two members of the Pitzer faculty live in one of the two faculty apartments in the residence halls on campus, and design and run events for students.

Faculty laboratories and departments received massive aid of $ 1, 050, 000 for development from the United Nations Development Program ( UNDP ).
