The Faculty of Arts, Education and Human Development offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Faculty of Management and Human Resource Development

It was founded on 24 July 1919 and now consists of five faculties and one institute-the Faculty of Agronomy, Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, Faculty of Business and Economics, Faculty of Horticulture, Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies and Institute of Lifelong Education.

The Faculty of Education and Humanities runs Master of Psychology programmes specializing in Social Psychology, Theoretical and Clinical Psychoanalysis, Clinical Psychology specializing in Family and Couples Therapy, and Cognitive Development specializing in Dynamic Learning Propensity Assessment Device ; Postgraduate courses in Clinical Psychoanalysis specializing in Adults, Clinical Psychology: Specialist in Transpersonal Humanist Psychotherapy, Psychomotricity, Specialist in Juvenile-Infant Clinical Psychology ; Specialist Programmes in Education ( Language and Communication, English as a Foreign Language, Artistic Education, Mathematical Education, Nature Study, Social Studies and Physical Education ); and Diplomas in Juridical and Forensic Psychology and an International Diploma in Sports Psychology.

The Faculties Economics and Business joined with the Faculty of Engineering through their Graduate Schools have developed an MBA programme with dual degree in Universitat Pompeu Fabra with specializations in Finance, Human Resources, Strategic Communication, Marketing and Quality Control and a Master in Finance ; Masters programmes in Educational Management, Organizational Development and Behaviour, Information Technology Management, Systems Administration and Business Administration.

In consequence, the Centre for Juridical Research of the Faculty of Law has made significant contributions towards the Penal Procedures Reform which is being implemented throughout the country ; whilst two other Centres belonging to the Faculty of Humanities and Education ( Cognitive Development Centre ) and the Faculty of Communication and Letters ( Journalism and Advertising Research Centre, CIPP ) are implementing programmes of public interest in the areas of cognitive development, community strengthening and the role of the communications media in society.

* The Faculty of Arts ( Literature, Linguistics ), Faculty of Health and Social Science, Faculty of Education and Sport, School of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Applied Social Science, Centre for Nursing and Midwifery Research, International Health Development and Research Centre, Social Science Policy and Research Centre, School of Education, Education Research Centre, the Centre for Learning and Teaching and the Brighton and Sussex Medical School are all based on this campus.

The Faculty ’ s Centre for Research and Development ( CRD ) supports research of international significance and resulted in Sixty-five per cent of research in art and design being classified as either ' world leading ' or ' internationally excellent ' in the Research Assessment Exercise RAE2008.

Budgeted at $ 55. 5 million, the Renewal Project received $ 34. 4 million in funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation and British Columbia Knowledge Development Fund ($ 17. 2 million each ), plus from The University of British Columbia, UBC Faculty of Arts, and the Museum itself.

The Centre for International Sustainable Development Law ( CISDL ), although not formally affiliated with McGill University, is associated with the Faculty of Law and has its head office there.

The Faculty of Law is home to three student-run academic journals: the McGill International Journal of Sustainable Development Law and Policy, the McGill Journal of Law and Health, and the sixty-year-old McGill Law Journal.

The Faculty also has a school of Foundation Studies which delivers the BTEC Foundation in Art and Design which prepares undergraduate students for entry into honours degree Art and Design programmes.

Whittier College's Faculty Masters Program, modeled after similar programs at Oxford and Cambridge universities, delivers another optional learning experience for students.

The Faculty of Science and Engineering offers a wide range of accredited programmes for undergraduates and postgraduates in chemistry, biology, earth science, and the physical sciences.

The Faculty of Health, Social Care & Education offers courses over a range of study levels, from foundation and undergraduate degrees to postgraduate qualifications.

The Push operated in a pub culture and comprised a broad range of manual workers, musicians, lawyers, criminals, journalists and public servants as well as staff and students of Sydney University — predominantly though not exclusively in the Faculty of Arts.

Founded in 1950, the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering conducts research and education in a wide range of aerospace disciplines.

The Faculty of Technology offers courses across a range of animation, computer game programming, information technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, telecommunications and video production.

The Faculty of Law offers its students Canada's most extensive internship program in pro bono work and international human rights law, and supports a range of legal clinics staffed by students as well as practitioners.

Students manage a wide range of organizations and activities at the Faculty of Law.

The Faculty also offer a degree in film and television and a range of postgraduate programs.

The largest faculty in terms of student numbers, the Faculty for Languages and Literatures offer an extensive range of subjects and is subdivided into the following three departments overseeing various institutes and sub-departments:

The School of Culture, History and Language ( which includes the former Faculty of Asian Studies ) teaches and researches in the humanities and social sciences of the Asia Pacific region, as well as teaching a wide range of Asian languages.

Following a comparative study at Osaka University's Faculty of Engineering, between in-line and L-shaped motors, Kawasaki Motors decided to develop a range of high performance, two stroke straight-three engines.

— is generally a first degree lasting three years ( or four years in Scotland ) and consisting of a wide range of areas of study ( normally including music performance, composition, music theory, musicology / music history ), but at the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge it is a one-year postgraduate degree which can only be read if a student is a graduate in music with honours at those universities ; the undergraduate course is in the Faculty of Arts and leads to the degree of Bachelor of Arts ( and subsequently to the degree of Master of Arts ).

Convergence involved the transfer of most of the college's teaching and research activity to the new University of Cambridge Faculty of Education and the diversification of the college into a wide range of Tripos subjects.

These range from the establishment of the US $ 450 million international Aga Khan University with its Faculty of Health Sciences and teaching hospital based in Karachi, the expansion of schools for girls and medical centers in the Hunza region ( one of the remote parts of Northern Pakistan bordering on China and Afghanistan that is densely populated with Nizari Ismailis ), to the establishment of the Aga Khan Rural Support Program in Gujarat, India – and the extension of existing urban hospitals and primary health care centers in Tanzania and Kenya.

The Faculty of Health Sciences offered a broad range of disciplines that made the faculty unique.

The Faculty of Humanities at the University of Copenhagen is the largest faculty in terms of number of students and range of subjects.

Both the Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal, an organization under direct supervision of the Portuguese Ministry of the Justice, which provides forensic science services to the police forces and government agencies of Portugal, and the University of Coimbra's teaching hospital, HUC ( Hospitais da Universidade de Coimbra ), a university hospital known as a centre of research with a broad range of clinical services and medical specialties, are managed by the Faculty of Medicine ( FMUC ).

Faculty in the School of Medicine specializes in a wide range of basic and applied research, including those related to neuroscience, cancer biology, vascular biology, genetic diseases and functional genomics, health services, infectious diseases, nutrition, telemedicine, and vision science.

The MRFA is the sole bargaining agent for credit faculty, offers a variety of professional development and social opportunities for members, and administers a range of faculty services including the Faculty Centre, a lounge and meeting space that connects faculty and enhances the collegial environment.

Norma Wieland, president of the Confederation of University Faculty Associations of B. C., was quoted saying " A university should offer a wide range of instructional programs backed up by an extensive research mandate, from the information that has been made available to date, David Strong's institution is nowhere close to meeting that goal.

Faculty members are opening new doors in a wide range of areas including laser technology, computer-aided dental restorations, dental material improvement, craniofacial deformity, and salivary dysfunction treatment.
