During the next eight years, Andersson ( together with Ulvaeus ) wrote music for and produced eight studio albums with ABBA.

The duo named themselves Gemini, and a second album with more music by Björn and Benny was released in April 1987, containing the big hit " Mio My Mio "; also to be found on the soundtrack to the film Mio in the Land of Faraway, for which Andersson co-produced the music.

Benny Andersson has written music to several films for screen and television ; the first attempt in the early 1970s for the obscure Swedish movie The Seduction Of Inga: the film flopped, but the ' Björn & Benny ' single " She's My Kind Of Girl " surprised the composers by being released in Japan and becoming a Top 10 hit ( the song renamed in Japan as " The Little Girl Of The Cold Wind ").

In 1987, Andersson wrote music and co-produced the soundtrack with Anders Eljas for the film Mio in the Land of Faraway, based on Swedish author Astrid Lindgrens Mio, my Mio.

Benny Andersson also wrote the film score for the 2012 documentary Palme about Swedish prime minister Olof Palme.

Together with Ulvaeus, Andersson was nominated for a Drama Desk Award in a category " Outstanding Music " ( for the musical Chess ), and for a Tony Award in a category " Best Orchestrations " ( for musical Mamma Mia !).

In February – March 1973, Spassky finished equal third at Tallinn with 9 / 15, three points behind Tal ; he tied for first at Dortmund on 9½ / 15 (+ 5 − 1 = 9 ) with Hans-Joachim Hecht and Ulf Andersson.

Swedish metal band Entombed ( with Nicke Andersson on drums ) released a limited digipak edition of the 1997 album " DCLXVI: To Ride Shoot Straight and Speak the Truth " with a bonus CD titled " Family Favourites " featuring four cover songs.

Nicke Andersson ( also known as Nick Royale ), born 1 August 1972 is a singer, guitarist, drummer, songwriter and composer most known for his work as the singer and guitarist of the successful Grammy award winning rock band The Hellacopters as well as the former drummer for Swedish death metal band Entombed.

Besides his work with the Hellacopters, Andersson is currently the drummer and songwriter in the soul band The Solution with Scott Morgan as well as the drummer, guitarist and songwriter in the death metal band Death Breath.

Andersson was predominantly the drummer in the band but also contributed with bass, guitars and vocals as well.

Due to the band's success, Andersson left Entombed to focus full time on his new band.
