With respect to Article 2,, paragraphs 1 ( B ) and 1 ( C ): Uses of Section 104 ( E ) and Section 104 ( G ) rupees: The Government of India will use the amount of rupees granted or loaned to it by the United States pursuant to paragraphs 1 ( B ) and 1 ( C ) for projects to promote economic development with emphasis upon the agricultural sector including food reserve storage structures and facilities as may from time to time be agreed upon by the authorized representatives of the United States and the authorized representatives of the Government of India, in the following sectors: A.

The Government of India further agrees in cooperation with the Government of the United States, to coordinate the use of grant and loan funds provided for in paragraphs 1 ( B ) and 1 ( C ) of Article 2, with such direct dollar assistance as may be made available by the Government of the United States of America, so that both sources of financing may be channeled to specific and clearly identifiable economic development programs and projects.

With regard to the rupees accruing to uses indicated under Article 2, of the Agreement, the understanding of the Government of the United States of America, with respect to both paragraphs 1 ( B ) and 1 ( C ) of Article 2, is as follows: ( 1 )

Local currency will be advanced or reimbursed to the Government of India for financing agreed projects under paragraphs 1 ( B ) and 1 ( C ) of Article 2, of the Agreement upon the presentation of such documentation as the United States may specify.

The Government of India shall maintain or cause to be maintained books and records adequate to identify the goods and services financed for agreed projects pursuant to paragraphs 1 ( B ) and 1 ( C ) of Article 2, of the Agreement, to disclose the use thereof in the projects and to record the progress of the projects ( including the cost thereof ).

Mr. Justice Black was one of the minority that rested on the Article 1, power.

But, the constitution does not use the term " bumiputra "; it defines only " Malay " and " indigenous peoples " ( Article 160 ( 2 )), " natives " of Sarawak ( 161A ( 6 )( a )), and " natives " of Sabah ( Article 161A ( 6 )( b )).

Article 8 ( 2 )( b )( i ) of the 1998 Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court also includes this in its list of war crimes: " Intentionally directing attacks against the civilian population as such or against individual civilians not taking part in hostilities ".

Article 8 ( 2 )( b )( i ) of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court also prohibits attacks directed against civilians.

During this turmoil, the Akali Dal began another agitation in February 1984 protesting against clause ( 2 )( b ) of Article 25 of the Indian constitution, which ambiguously states " the reference to Hindus shall be construed as including a reference to persons professing the Sikh, Jaina or Buddhist religion ", though it also implicitly recognizes Sikhism as a separate religion with the words " the wearing and carrying of kirpans shall be deemed to be included in the profession of the Sikh religion.

According to the Rome Statute ( Article 7 ( 2 )( c )), sexual enslavement is the exercise of any or all of the powers attached to the " right of ownership " over a person.

Although they meet many of the requirements of Article 47 of Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions defining mercenaries, they are exempt under clauses 47 ( a )( c )( d )( e )&( f ).

* Nevertheless, this interpretation of ICC Article 33 is open to debate: For example Article 33 ( 1 )( c ) protects the defendant only if " the order was not manifestly unlawful.

" Subsequently, however, it appears that Alain Pompidou has written a letter dated 22 February 2007 to Lord Justice Jacob of the Court of Appeal of England and Wales ( with a copy to the United Kingdom Patent Office ) advising that he has " decided that at the moment there is an insufficient legal basis for a referral under Article 112 ( 1 )( b )", and that " the appropriate moment for a referral would be where the approach taken by one Board of Appeal would lead to the grant of a patent whereas the approach taken by another Board would not ".
