Article IX placed one fourth of Germany's territory under provisional Polish administration and Article XIII ordered that the remaining German populations in Poland, Czechoslovakia and Hungary be transferred West in an " orderly and humane " manner.

Article XIII of the treaty granted each inhabitant of the Republic freedom of conscience.

Among other conditions, the treaty stipulated: BE it known unto all men by these Present that whereas His Catholic Majesty Alfonso XIII, King of Spain, has judged it proper to announce his intention of contracting a marriage with Her Royal Highness Princess Victoria Eugénie Julia Ena, niece of His Majesty Edward VII, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and of the British Dominions beyond the Seas, Emperor of India, and daughter of Her Royal Highness the Princess Beatrice Mary Victoria Feodore ( Princess Henry of Battenberg )... Article I.

He was the first of the German princes to grant a liberal constitution to his state under Article XIII of the Act of Confederation ( 5 May 1816 ) and his concession of liberty to the press made Weimar for a while the focus of journalistic agitation against the existing order.

Article XIII alleged a general charge of bringing the Judiciary into disrepute.

Article XIII

Pursuant to Article XIII, the state constitution can also be amended or revised via a convention called for such purpose by way of one of two methods:

Article XIII describes the two ways the constitution may be amended: by popular convention or through legislation.

It was the hand of the author of that offensive Memorandum to Frederick William III, on the freedom of the press, that drafted the Carlsbad Decrees ; it was he who inspired the policy of repressing the freedom of the universities ; and he noted in his diary as a day more important than that of Leipzig the session of the Vienna conference of 1819, in which it was decided to make the convocation of representative assemblies in the German states impossible, by enforcing the letter of Article XIII of the Act of Confederation.

Concerning the Number and Use of the Sacraments -- Article XIII

Section XIII, Article 8 of the Hague Convention of 1907 required that a neutral government had a duty " to prevent the departure from its jurisdiction of any vessel intended to cruise, or engage in hostile operations " against another government with which the neutral was not at war.

The treaty stipulated that trade in the treaty ports should be subject to fixed tariffs, which were to be agreed upon between the British and the Qing governments ( Article X ).

On taking office the president must take the following oath, stipulated by Article 56 of the Basic Law, before the assembled members of the Bundestag and Bundesrat ( however he or she is permitted to omit the religious references if so desired ):

Although Article 16 of the 1996 amended constitution, see the above referendum, reaffirms the equality of religions and denominations before the law, it also contains restrictive language that stipulated that cooperation between the state and religious organizations " is regulated with regard for their influence on the formation of spiritual, cultural, and country traditions of the Belarusian people.

This is stipulated in the Chapter XV, Article 36B of the constitution.

Article XV of the agreement stipulated that graduates belonging to Dominion air forces, where they were assigned to service with the RAF, should be placed in new squadrons identified with the RAAF, RCAF and RNZAF.

Articles XVI and XVII stipulated that the UK government would be wholly responsible for the pay and entitlements of graduates, once they were placed with RAF or Article XV units.

The constitution also stipulated in the Article I. 4, that " the territory of the ROC is the original territory governed by it, unless authorized by the National Assembly, can not be altered.

Article 1 stipulated that Germany and Italy were to stay in communication with one another, in order to ' come to an understanding of all common interests or the European situation as a whole '.

Article 6 of the Convention between China and the United Kingdom stipulated that China was to cede the part of Kowloon Peninsula south of present day Boundary Street, Kowloon, and Hong Kong ( including Stonecutters Island ) in perpetuity to Britain.

Article 6 of the Convention between China and France stipulated that " the religious and charitable establishments which were confiscated from Christians during the persecutions of which they were victims shall be returned to their owners through the French Minister in China ".

As stipulated in Article 1 of the Transitional Federal Charter of the Somali Republic, Puntland is a part of the Federal State of Somalia.

The Armistice Agreement of 12 September stipulated in Article 18 that " An Allied Control Commission will be established which will undertake until the conclusion of peace the regulation of and control over the execution of the present terms under the general direction and orders of the Allied ( Soviet ) High Command, acting on behalf of the Allied Powers.

The following provisions regarding the election process are stipulated in Article 76 as amended:

The thirteenth of US President Woodrow Wilson's Fourteen Points included the statement " An independent Polish state should be erected which should include the territories inhabited by indisputably Polish populations, which should be assured a free and secure access to the sea ..." Article 87 of the Versailles Treaty stipulated that " The boundaries of Poland not laid down in the present Treaty will be subsequently determined by the Principal Allied and Associated Powers.

Article 3 stipulated that border issues between Poland and Lithuania would be settled by those states.

* The President can propose that the Standing Committee review its decree-laws and resolutions on matters stipulated in Points 8 and 9, Article 91, within the space of ten days following their adoption ; if those decree-laws and resolutions are again passed by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly with the country's President dissenting, the latter shall report the matter to the National Assembly for it to decide the issue at its nearest session.

" This exclusion of jurisdiction over Syariah matters is stipulated in Clause 1A of Article 121, which was added to the Constitution by Act A704, in force from 10 June 1988.

The Armistice Agreement with Bulgaria October 28, 1944 stipulated Article 1 that " On the conclusion of hostilities against Germany the Bulgarian armed forces must be mobilized and put on a peace footing under: supervision of the Allied Control Commission .".

Article 11 stipulated that property taken from United Nations territory must be returned to those territories under the supervision of the Control Commission.

What is required is the full implementation of Article 2 of the Treaty, which provides: `` The Parties will contribute toward the further development of peaceful and friendly international relations by strengthening their free institutions, by bringing about a better understanding of the principles upon which these institutions are founded, and by promoting conditions of stability and well-being.

* Article 8 – Allows for jurisdiction over observers and scientists by their own states ;

Bogers and Fijneman were charged with distributing a scheduled substance ( DMT ); however, the prosecution was unable to prove that the use of ayahuasca by members of the Santo Daime constituted a sufficient threat to public health and order that it warranted denying their rights to religious freedom under ECHR Article 9.

Article III of the Constitution specifies that Associate Justices, and all other United States federal judges " shall hold their Offices during good Behavior.

The Belgic Confession, used in Reformed churches, devotes a section ( Article 6 ) to " The difference between the canonical and apocryphal books " and asserts that " All which the Church may read and take instruction from, so far as they agree with the canonical books ; but they are far from having such power and efficacy as that we may from their testimony confirm any point of faith or of the Christian religion ; much less to detract from the authority of the other sacred books.

Article 1 simply binds the signatory parties to secure the rights under the other Articles of the Convention " within their jurisdiction ".

Article 2 protects the right of every person to their life.

Article 6 provides a detailed right to a fair trial, including the right to a public hearing before an independent and impartial tribunal within reasonable time, the presumption of innocence, and other minimum rights for those charged with a criminal offence ( adequate time and facilities to prepare their defence, access to legal representation, right to examine witnesses against them or have them examined, right to the free assistance of an interpreter ).

Article 8 provides nationals with the right to renounce their nationality, providing they do not thereby become stateless.

* Article on hormones and their receptors

Article 31 of the " Ley sobre Libertades de Opinión e Información y Ejercicio del Periodismo " ( statute on freedom of opinion and information and the performance of journalism ), punishes with a high fine those who “ through any means of social communication makes publications or transmissions intended to promote hatred or hostility towards persons or a group of persons due to their race, sex, religion or nationality ".

* Article 137c: He who publicly, orally, in writing or graphically, intentionally expresses himself insultingly regarding a group of people because of their race, their religion or their life philosophy, their heterosexual or homosexual orientation or their physical, psychological or mental disability, shall be punished by imprisonment of no more than a year or a monetary penalty of the third category.

* Article 137d: He who publicly, orally, in writing or graphically, incites hatred against, discrimination of or violent action against person or belongings of people because of their race, their religion or their life philosophy, their gender, their heterosexual or homosexual orientation or their physical, psychological or mental disability, shall be punished by imprisonment of no more than a year or a monetary penalty of the third category.

The principles of the foreign policy are constitutionally recognized in the Article 89, Section 10, which include: respect for international law and legal equality of states, their sovereignty and independence, non-intervention in the domestic affairs of other countries, peaceful resolution of conflicts, and promotion of collective security through active participation in international organizations.

Article 177 would give the Court of Justice jurisdiction to interpret and apply their principles so, if the political will arises, uniformity may gradually emerge in letter.
