Bianca manages to stop Max from assassinating her by successfully ' reprogramming ' him to turn against Videodrome, in the hope of destroying the project that led to her father's death.
She tells him he has weakened Videodrome, but in order to completely defeat it, he has to ascend to the next level and " leave the old flesh.
A deleted scene from the film provides background on the origin of Videodrome.
The same signal used in the Image Accumulator was then used to create Videodrome.
