Ono appears on the new Basement Jaxx album Scars, featuring on the single " Day of the Sunflowers ( We March On )".

In 2004, Chasez released a solo album, Schizophrenic, and has gone on to write and produce for music acts such as Girls Aloud, Basement Jaxx, David Archuleta, Matthew Morrison, and the Backstreet Boys.

The album was produced by Chasez, Dallas Austin, and contributing artists Basement Jaxx, BT and rapper Ol ' Dirty Bastard, under the pseudonym Dirt McGirt.

In preparation for the album, Lauper visited England and France during summer 2007 to write for the album and wrote songs with dance artists like Axwell, The Scumfrog, Basement Jaxx, Digital Dog, Dragonette, Kleerup and others.

On the Creamfields event, in 2002 at Speke Airfield DJs such as Oakenfold, Seb Fontaine, Paul van Dyk performed along Dave Clarke, Jon Carter, Richie Hawtin and Felix Da Housecat, the event also featured live appearances from Basement Jaxx, All Saints, Death In Vegas and Moloko.

Basement Jaxx are a British electronic dance music duo from London, England consisting of Felix Buxton ( born 1971 ) and Simon Ratcliffe ( born 1 December 1969 ).

Basement Jaxx started in Brixton, South London, in 1994, where they held a regular club night called Basement Jaxx, which was also held in a variety of venues including The George IV, The Crypt and The Junction.

Basement Jaxx also released Jaxx Unreleased, a compilation album of B-sides, remixes, and other assorted material, in 1999.

Dylan invited the Hawks to join him in Woodstock, where they recorded a much-bootlegged and influential series of demos, subsequently released on LP as The Basement Tapes.

He also recorded and performed, in combination with other artists, under group names such as The Hard Brothers, Hard Trax ( with his brother Matthew Hawtin ), 0733, Cybersonik ( with Daniel Bell and John Acquaviva ), Final Exposure ( with Joey Beltram and Mundo Muzique ), Just For Fun ( with Holger Wick ), Narod Niki ( with Akufen, Cabanne, Dandy Jack, Daniel Bell, Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Robert Henke and Thomas Franzmann ), Two Guys In The Basement ( with John Acquaviva ), Spawn ( with Fred Giannelli and Daniel Bell ) and States Of Mind ( with Acquaviva ).

The album itself was recorded in studios in New York and Los Angeles in 1968, and followed the band's backing of Bob Dylan on his 1966 tour ( as The Hawks ) and time spent together in upstate New York recording material that was officially released in 1975 as The Basement Tapes, also with Dylan.

This saw the beginning of a productive two years for the band and they recorded three albums: The Tourists, Reality Effect, and Luminous Basement, as well as half a dozen singles, including " Blind Among the Flower " ( 1979 ), " The Loneliest Man in the World " ( 1979 ), " Don't Say I Told You So " ( 1980 ), and two major hits, the Dusty Springfield cover " I Only Want to Be with You " ( 1979 ) and " So Good to Be Back Home Again " ( 1980 ), both of which reached the top 10 in the UK.

Basement Jaxx played with a live band made up of artists who recorded the album.

The oldest rocks at river level are igneous and metamorphic and have been lumped together as " Vishnu Basement Rocks "; the oldest ages recorded by these rocks fall in the range 1950 to 1680 million years.

It is Radiohead's only concert home video to date, not including the From the Basement DVD which is a live performance recorded in a studio rather than in front of an audience.

The Used continued to write songs together and recorded a demo album in drummer Steineckert's bedroom titled Demos from the Basement.

In 1997 they released " Outtakes from a Beer City Basement " which had two exclusive songs that can only be found on this recording, Hot Seat ( an Empire cover ) and Rejected ( a song originally recorded by Duane's early 80's band Political Crap ), it also had a new recording of the song Bubble Gum originally released on their first album.

Set in three differently communal spaces that were also “ hiding places ”— named in the chapter titles, “ In the Basement ,” “ At the Bar ,” and “ On Broadway ”— Miller ’ s study of the Broadway musical further complicated the theory of the closet as “ Open Secret ” that Miller had first put forward in The Novel and the Police and had continued to unfold in Bringing Out Roland Barthes.

Foster would much later appear on stage in three of Pinter's plays, The Basement and The Tea Party and A Slight Ache in 1987.

The Singles ( Special Edition ) was also released, which contained the original compilation along with a bonus disc entitled Bonus Traxx, containing many previously unreleased tracks, as well as remixes of existing Basement Jaxx songs.

Their second live album, Live at the Basement, was released in 2002, and contained a number of new and old songs.

After submitting a set of excerpts from the The Basement Tapes that Davis found unsatisfactory, Dylan returned to the studio in September 1971 to recut several Basement songs, with Happy Traum providing backup.

The album included versions of songs that would later be reworked for Malin's first two solo albums, including Solitaire, Basement Home, Brooklyn and Downliner.
