Marginal Street, providing access from Hudson County Boulevard East west over Park Avenue to 32nd Street and the Bergen Turnpike, was also opened at that time.

The route passes over Route 63 in Palisades Park, with access to that route provided by Bergen Boulevard, and intersects the southern terminus of Route 67 in Fort Lee.

Route 5 passes under Route 63 and enters Fort Lee, where the route immediately intersects Bergen Boulevard, which provides access to Route 63.

Apart from a small section between Bergen Turnpike and Weehawken Cemetery, Kennedy Boulevard, a major north-south thoroughfare, creates the western border with North Bergen.

The middle school was named Henry E. Huntington School, after San Marino ’ s “ first citizen .” In 1953, a new K. L. Carver Elementary was completed at its current location on San Gabriel Boulevard and was named after a school board member of 19 years – K. L. Carver.

Millbrae School District oversees four public elementary schools ( Meadows, Green Hills, Spring Valley, and Lomita Park ) and one middle school ( Taylor Middle School, named after the family that owned land along Taylor Boulevard prior to the city being laid out ).

Previously two schools served the town, however, Oak View Elementary School, located off of Santa Ana Boulevard, was closed by the district.

Warfield's contributions to Indiantown are memorialized in, among others, Warfield Boulevard ( the main route through Indiantown ) and Warfield Elementary School.

Willard's main east-west road, U. S. 160, is known as Olympian Boulevard because two graduates of Willard High School have participated in the Olympics.

A small part of eastern Great Neck around Northern Boulevard is part of the Manhasset Union Free School District, whose students attend Manhasset High School.

West of Bayview Avenue ( from Sunrise Highway to Albany Avenue ), northwest of Albany Avenue ( from Bayview to just past Rainbow Lane ), south of an imaginary border that stretches from from Albany Avenue to Johnson Street, west of another unclear border that cross the properties between Johnson Street, Dubois Avenue, Columbus Boulevard, and Great Neck Road, and southwest of Great Neck Road ( from Colombus Boulevard to the Southern State Parkway ), is within the Amityville Union Free School District.

Northeast of Great Neck Road ( from Columbus Boulevard to the Southern State Parkway ) and west of an imaginary line that stretches from the northeastern corner of the Columbus Boulevard / Great Neck Road intersection to the Southern State parkway just west of Cedar Road, is within the Farmingdale Union Free School District.

There are five lower elementary schools, Fernway, Mercer, Boulevard, Lomond and Onaway ; an upper elementary school, Woodbury Elementary School ; Shaker Heights Middle School ; and Shaker Heights High School.
