Subcontract work on jet aircraft ( including jumbo jets ) has been done for Boeing, Embraer, and Bombardier.

As of 2011, the Mark II design has been updated by Bombardier, with its newest offering being the Mark III ( Innovia Metro ).

The system has 15 Incentro AT6 / 5 trams, similar to those used in Nantes, built by Bombardier Transportation ( formerly ADtranz ) in Derby.

Bombardier has been manufacturing and testing commercial aircraft on the site since then.

Downsview Airport or Toronto / Downsview Airport,, is located in Toronto, Ontario and has been exclusively owned and used as a testing facility by Bombardier Aerospace since 1994.

The trains were purchased under an agreement under which they could be sold back to Bombardier if they were replaced or retired, but the agreement has since expired.
