Kaf HaChaim on Orach Chayim and parts of Yoreh De ' ah, by the Sephardi sage Yaakov Chaim Sofer ( Baghdad and Jerusalem, 1870 – 1939 ) is similar in scope, authority and approach to the Mishnah Berurah.

He was called " Chaim " by his mother, and his name is shown as " Hyman " on his school report cards.

Chaim Weizmann is buried beside his wife in the garden of his home at the Weizmann estate, which is located on the grounds of Israel's science research institute, The Weizmann Institute of Science.
