After Cyclops and Jean Grey are also killed, Madelyne cryptically reveals that, since the very beginning, she was always both Madelyne Pryor and a crucial portion of Jean Grey herself ( and even hinted to being the Dark Phoenix ), explaining that she was the part of Jean that truly and completely loved Scott, and that was why Jean and Scott's marriage failed.

Cannonball and Karma both temporarily step down from the team to recover from their psychological and physical damage, and Cyclops places Magik under permanent arrest for her recent actions in Limbo.

Stryfe grows up to be an insane madman, wanting vengeance on both what he thought were his real parents ( Cyclops and Jean ) and his spiritual parent, Apocalypse.

With the aid of Blaquesmith-flashbacks revealing that they discovered various anti-mutant technologies in the Avengers Mansion-Cable manages to fight off the Red Hulk, partially infecting him with the techno-organic virus, only to be interrupted by Hope and Cyclops, who both denounce his actions as unnecessary, culminating in Wolverine and Spider-Man attacking him as they vow to take back the Avengers.

The Avengers then proceeded to fight Cable until he was nearly dead from both the fight and the virus, and Cyclops asked to take his son home, with Captain America insisting the Avengers keep the weapons and ship.

Almost certainly Graves was the Exalted Cyclops ( chapter president ) of the Montgomery chapter of the Klan, but both Graves and U. S. Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black, another Alabama Klan member, were more opportunists than ideologues, politicians who used the temporary strength of the Klan to further their careers.
