The etymology of foo is explored in the Internet Engineering Task Force ( IETF ) RFC 3092, which notes usage of foo in 1930s cartoons including The Daffy Doc ( with Daffy Duck ) and comic strips, especially Smokey Stover and Pogo.

Nonetheless it appeared in the 1944 Warner Bros. cartoon Tom Turk and Daffy, uttered by a Thanksgiving turkey whose presence is betrayed to Porky Pig by Daffy Duck.

It is the only time in which Looney Tunes characters have shared screen time with their rivals at Disney ( producers of the film )— particularly in the scenes where Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse are skydiving, and when Daffy Duck and Donald Duck are performing their " Dueling Pianos " sequence.

Daffy Duck is an animated cartoon character produced by Warner Bros.

The cartoon is a standard hunter / prey pairing for which Leon Schlesinger's studio was famous, but Daffy ( barely more than an unnamed bit player in this short ) was something new to moviegoers: an assertive, completely unrestrained, combative protagonist.

" The last cartoon featuring Daffy and Speedy is " See Ya Later Gladiator ," in what animation fans call the worst cartoon made by Warner Bros.

( It should be stressed that in this show, Duck Dodgers actually is Daffy Duck due to him being frozen in suspended animation in some unknown incident.
