A mysterious man named Roosta brings Zaphod to Zarniwoop's office, where they wait until the building lands on Frogstar World B. Roosta gives Zaphod final instructions before he leaves: Go through the window on his way out, not the door.

Frogstar World A is the first planet of the Frogstar system and the home of the Frogstar fighters which take Zaphod Beeblebrox to Frogstar World B. Frogstar World A is described as an altogether more congenial place than Frogstar World B.

Marvin subsequently saves Zaphod's life by engaging in a battle of wits with a vicious ( yet stupid ) automated tank, and then is abandoned on the planet Frogstar B when Zaphod is sent to the Total Perspective Vortex.

When Zaphod and Marvin reach the fifteenth floor of the Guides office, half of the building is lifted off the ground by Frogstar Fighters.

In the original radio series, the Frogstar system does not exist and the Total Perspective Vortex is said to be located on " The Frogstar ".

Frogstar World B is said to be " the most totally evil place in the galaxy ".

Although there is no statue of Arthur on Frogstar B, the bird people came about the same way ; there is no archeologist called Lintilla in the part of the books that concerns itself with Frogstar B ; however, the spaceport with the massively delayed spaceship is there.

Frogstar B is the home of the Total Perspective Vortex, a machine that effectively annihilates one's soul by showing one in an instant the whole infinity of creation and oneself in relation to it.

However of the stories of Zaphod's visit to the Frogstar, the Guide says " 10 % are 95 % true, 14 % are 65 % true, 35 % are only 5 % true and the rest are told by Zaphod Beeblebrox ", and listeners are presented with one " version " of that visit.

The books later expanded the Frogstar into a full system with three known habitable planets.

Frogstar B was thrown into poverty through an event termed the Shoe Event Horizon.
