He is known as the " Weapons Master ", and it is said that no matter what weapon you choose, even your hands and feet, Garet Jax is better with it.

When Jair and Slanter return, having saved Brin, they find Garet Jax sitting against a wall, his sword still held in his hand and looking like he might even be sleeping, but on closer inspection they realize the Weapons Master is dead.

However, Jair thought that this seemed appropriate, that Garet Jax should be where no other mortal could go, that he should be no different in death than in life.

Garet Jax himself does not make a true appearance in Dark Wraith of Shannara, but is still a main character.

Jair Ohmsford uses the Wishsong in the book in order to meld him and his memories of Garet Jax into one sentient being.

First, Jair used the Wishsong to become Garet Jax when he is confronted by Mwellrets while attempting to steal the last page of the Ildatch.

He uses the Wishsong to appear as though he is Garet Jax.

The next time we see Jair use the Wishsong to become Garet Jax is when he is confronted by a Koden while traversing the Charnal region.

But once again succumbs and becomes Garet Jax once more.

The third and final time Jair uses the wishsong to become Garet Jax is near the end of his journey when he is locked in combat with numerous Mwellrets and the dreaded Croton Witch.

Jair initially prevails, and talks about how easy it would have been for him to fully give in, and just become Garet Jax forever.

The appearance of Garet Jax in Dark Wraith of Shannara is much different than it is described in The Wishsong of Shannara -- in that novel, he has almost white hair and flint gray eyes, but in Dark Wraith, he appears to have brown hair, and darker ( possibly green ) eyes.

Terry Brooks expressed his desire in the beginning of Dark Wraith to further explore the relationship between Jair and Garet Jax.

In the video game League of Legends there is character named Jax, whose title is Grandmaster at arms, similar to Garet Jax's nickname.

In addition, his back-story mentions that he never lost a match, very similar to Garet Jax.

Coxey's Army also plays a prominent role in Garet Garrett's The Driver, in which the main character is a journalist following the march.

It is ' paleo ' because of its genesis in the work of Murray N. This proves to be a mistake when Jax proves to be an insolent, arrogant, self serving and malicious boy ( causing several people to doubt whether he is the Guardian but most were unfortunately in denial that Terrel is the guardian ) while Terrel is humble, kind and likeable but is feared because of his eyes which shine like stars.

On top of this, his efforts to do as he is guided and follow through with the Tindaya Code, Terrel is visited in his nightmarish dreams by Jax ( whose basic powers involve manipulating people through dreams ), whom he does not know is his brother, and tormented by him.

It is during this that many mysterious deaths and answers are revealed ; Jax caused Shahan's death, he killed the head seer because the seer knew were Terrel lives, compelled many pretty women to his room and raped them ( as their dreams forced them to have sex with him ) before erasing their memories, including a princess who he impregnants and slays, blaming the pregnancy on her, and ( most shocking of all ) that he was responsible for Terrel's deformed arm and leg.

Terrel helps the Ancient and discovers the truth about his birth, but Jax betrays him out of spite and despite Terrel saving Vadanis ( which the selfish and greedy Jax took credit for ), he is exiled, put on a raft in the wake of the floating islands and, in all probability, die in the unforgiving ocean.

He is perhaps best known for his roles as Pete Dunham in the film Green Street Hooligans, Nathan Maloney in the Channel 4 hit drama Queer as Folk, and Jackson " Jax " Teller in the FX series Sons of Anarchy.

He pilots a ship called the Doom Jax which is impervious to Martian weaponry.

The true power of the artifact is shown in the ending that it can open portals to other realms when Jax uses the artifact to teleport himself and Kano back to Earthrealm after defeating him.

His name is spelled " Jaxson " because Jacksonville is often shortened to " Jax.
