Terrel has many experiences regarding the current panicked state of the Empire before arriving at the apparent source and confronting an elemental being, an Ancient, that is terrified of water and as a result is causing the earthquakes and seems to be connected to all the other recent strange phenomena and the maligning of the moons.

With the Seers who run Vadanis in uproar about the unpredicted arrival of twins, and disgusted with his condition, Terrel is sent to, and brought up in, Haven — an asylum for the insane, utterly unaware of his royal lineage.

Terrel is bitter about his and his friends ' incarceration, but knows nothing of his origin, until one day when the trio explore outside Haven in the ruins of an observatory and discover the journal of a hermit named Muzeni.

Soon after a Seer, Shahan, arrives at Haven enquiring about Terrel.

However, Adina gives birth to twins, one an exuberant, healthy boy named Jax, but the other an undersized and crippled boy who would come to be called Terrel.

Terrel has returned to the Island of his birth, Vadanis.

This proves to be a mistake when Jax proves to be an insolent, arrogant, self serving and malicious boy ( causing several people to doubt whether he is the Guardian but most were unfortunately in denial that Terrel is the guardian ) while Terrel is humble, kind and likeable but is feared because of his eyes which shine like stars.

On top of this, his efforts to do as he is guided and follow through with the Tindaya Code, Terrel is visited in his nightmarish dreams by Jax ( whose basic powers involve manipulating people through dreams ), whom he does not know is his brother, and tormented by him.

It is during this that many mysterious deaths and answers are revealed ; Jax caused Shahan's death, he killed the head seer because the seer knew were Terrel lives, compelled many pretty women to his room and raped them ( as their dreams forced them to have sex with him ) before erasing their memories, including a princess who he impregnants and slays, blaming the pregnancy on her, and ( most shocking of all ) that he was responsible for Terrel's deformed arm and leg.

Discovering he is connected to the Tindaya Code, realising his own magical powers of a healer, and speculating whether he is the Guardian or the Mentor ( the role of the one, or many, who will guide or help the Guardian fulfill his world-saving prophecy ) along the way, Terrel is visited by Alyssa in the form of animals that speak to him in his mind.

Two oceans away from his homeland of Vadanis, Terrel finds himself in the harsh desert land of Misrah.

Terrel realizes that another elemental which lives in the mountain of Makranash in the middle of a vast forbidding desert is somehow the cause of this, and joins the Toma's team in an annual race between the desert's tribes to this sacred mountain.

Concurrent with the award, the Department issued a press release which stated that " he late Secretary Terrel H. Bell held education as his highest priority, trusting that all students would find it their personal key to success as he had.

There Terrel grows up with his friends Elam — a young boy put in Haven for picking a potato at the wrong time — and Alyssa, a pretty and strange young girl who Terrrel is secretly in love with ( something she returns without his knowledge ).

Terrel learns of the existence of other " Sleepers " like Alyssa and learns of a rock-like creature being used by Macul's king as a way to kill prisoners for entertainment.

Now Terrel finds himself in the war-torn land of Myvatan, where war has reigned for three hundred and forty years, since the last great conclave, and only a few wizards know what started it.

And for the prophecy to be fulfilled the Ancients must arise, and Terrel must defend them.

When Alyssa is almost raped by a lust filled soldier she descends into a magically protected comatose state, and Terrel leaves Haven to find answers.

However, Alyssa and the ghosts come to tell Terrel that his mission in the Tindaya Code is far from over.

Terrel instead survives and arrives on the non-Floating, stable " barbarian land " of Macul.

Terrel embarks on a journey to the capital city of Talazoria in order to speak with the Elemental and, hopefully, avoid a catastrophe that could affect the entire planet.

Terrel comes to integrate himself with these people by winning their trust through his healing, and soon becomes embroiled in their politics and way of life.

On the way, Terrel meets strange new people ( including a group that live in a valley blanketed by cloud such that they never see the sky ) and develops his ability as a healer, as well as discovering how to learn languages quickly through the use of psinoma.

Terrel Howard Bell ( November 11, 1921 – June 22, 1996 ) was the Secretary of Education in the Cabinet of President Ronald Reagan.

After a session of ice sledding, she discovers threatening mail in her mailbox, a precursor to harassment by her cybernetically-enhanced relatives of the Tatsu Clan of the Yakuza, something Bobby helps her out with.

Meanwhile, Lois Lane discovers proof of Luthor's clone harvesting and false identity ; with help from Superman, she exposes the truth, and a despondent Superman helps to apprehend Luthor.

His lost love from that time, Amanda Harris, discovers him and helps him regain his memory.

God helps us by His teaching and revelation, whilst He opens the eyes of our heart ; whilst He points out to us the future, that we may not be absorbed in the present ; whilst He discovers to us the snares of the devil ; whilst He enlightens us with the manifold and ineffable gift of heavenly grace.

She later discovers that it is the result of a curse from her former friend Amy ( Elizabeth Anne Allen ), who tells Willow that her own subconscious chose the punishment ; kissing Kennedy triggered the transformation because of Tara's memory, and moving on from her grief helps her revert to normal.

During the shooting, Benny discovers her standing still in a classroom and helps her escape from the school and the shooters.

Superboy saw the debuts of the first Superbaby story, ( about Clark's adventures as a super-powered toddler ), and of Clark's two closest friends: Lana Lang, who also serves as a romantic interest for Superboy ; and Pete Ross, who later discovers and helps protect Clark's secret identity.

She never discovers that Virgil is Static, but indirectly she helps him and Gear solve the crimes around Dakota.

Terry also makes allies in Neo-Gotham: Maxine " Max " Gibson is a 17-year-old computer genius who discovers Batman's secret identity and helps Terry with everything from computer hacking to babysitting.

The impostor discovers and helps take down corrupt officials in the government, including the President that he is pretending to be.

After three years, Sam discovers the Doctor's imprisonment and helps him to escape, realising that her relationship with the Doctor will never be anything other than platonic.
