For Skylab and Apollo-Soyuz, MLP No. 1 was modified with a so-called " milkstool " pedestal that allowed the shorter Saturn IB rocket to use the Saturn V tower and service arms, and Saturn V Ground Support Equipment ( GSE ) was removed or de-activated and Saturn IB GSE equipment was installed.

IB pyramidal neurons show no adaptation.

SPA teaches an independent curriculum that does not follow either the AP or IB curriculum models, though individual students may opt to take AP tests.

Mandarin Chinese, however, is not recognized as an IB class at Suncoast ( and was canceled as a subject following the 2009-2010 school year ), and either French or Spanish must be taken for an IB diploma.

Along with the normal academic courses preparing students for their IB equivalents, students are required to take at least one and normally two years of either music or art.

However, if a student scores an E on either the extended essay or TOK essay post-2010, he or she will only eligible to receive an IB diploma if 28 points are achieved overall.

Students with an IB Diploma can generally enter either college or university more easily than other Canadian high schoolers, due to the material covered in the program.

Students may either continue in the German system ( Abitur ) or enter the international classes & the IB Diploma Programme, in which the language is English.

In lieu of taking a Group 6 course, students may choose to take an additional course from Groups 1 – 4 or either Further Mathematics SL ( if already studying Mathematics HL ) a Computer science course from Group 5, or a school-based syllabus course approved by IB.

The Group 1 subjects of the IB Diploma Programme refer to the student's " Language A1 ," which is the student's native language or otherwise best language, taken at either Standard Level ( SL ) or Higher Level ( HL ).

Emphasis is placed on preparation for the IB exams during High School, for which virtually all seniors sit ( either for full Diploma or Certificate ).

IB Music can be taken at either the standard level ( SL ) or higher level ( HL ).

The two newest launch complexes were already being built for the Saturn I and IB rockets at the northernmost end: LC-34 and LC-37.

The station underwent extensive repair during a spacewalk ( extra-vehicular activity, or EVA ) by the crew of the SL-2 mission, which launched on 25 May 1973 atop a Saturn IB.

The University accepts qualified applicants studying under IB programs, AP programs or other international distinctions.

Launch of Apollo 1 was planned for February 21, 1967, when the crew entered the spacecraft on January 27, mounted atop its Saturn IB booster on Launch Pad 34 at Cape Kennedy, for a " plugs-out " test of the spacecraft, which included a rehearsal of the launch countdown procedure.

It is placed as the heaviest member of the group 11 ( IB ) elements, although a sufficiently stable isotope has not yet been produced in a sufficient amount that would confirm this position as a heavier homologue of gold.

In the late 1950s and early 1960s Centaur was proposed as a high energy upper stage for the Saturn I, Saturn IB and Saturn V rockets, under the designation S-V (" Saturn V ") in accordance with the numbering of other stages of Saturn rockets.

The Engineering Tripos on the other hand is divided into Parts IA ( spoken as: " One A "), IB (" One B "), IIA (" Two A "), and IIB (" Two B "), each corresponding to one academic year, and leads to the simultaneous awarding of the B. A.

In addition to Honors and Advanced Placement courses, Coeur d ' Alene and Lake City High Schools began offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, and two of the elementary schools are implementing the IB Primary Years Program.
