According to The Canadian Dictionary of ASL there are five broad regions of ASL variation in Canada, the Pacific, Prairie, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic regions.

Boroughs also exist in the Canadian province of Quebec and formerly in Ontario, in some states of the United States, in Israel, and formerly in New Zealand.

However, for Young Religious Unitarian Universalists ( YRUU ) programming in Canada, the " Central " and " Eastern " regions are combined to form a youth region known as " QuOM " ( Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes ), giving the youth only three regions for their activities.

Among the provinces, British Columbia has been distinguished by its strong liberal views ( in stark contrast to the other provinces west of Ontario ).

Several other home-made boards of southwestern Ontario origin, and dating from the 1870s, have been discovered since the 1990s.

Canadian Cheddar cheese is produced mostly by a number of large companies in Ontario, though other provinces produce some and there are some smaller artisanal producers.
