Henry demonstrated his gratitude to his “ right dearly beloved father ” by creating him Earl of Derby on 27 October 1485, and the following year confirmed him in office as High Constable of England and High Steward of the Duchy of Lancaster, besides granting him other estates and offices.

Stanley was made Constable of England by Richard III towards the end of 1483, the year in which Edward V and Richard, Duke of York ( the Princes in the Tower ) disappeared from their confinement in the Tower of London.

The Township of Laughlin, which is a judicial district for the purposes of elections, consists of a Justice Court, presided over by a Justice of the Peace ( elected for a six year term as a non-partisan official ) and a Constable ( elected for a four year term as a partisan official ).

Anyone standing for election as a Constable must be at least 24 years of age, a resident of Kentucky for at least 2 years, and a resident of the county and district for at least a year prior to election.

For the term commencing on January 3, 2011, the Clark County Board of Commissioners set a schedule of salaries for constables in that county ranging from $ 1000 to $ 2050 per year plus statutory fees per NRS 258. 125 except for the Las Vegas Township Constable whose salary is fixed at $ 103, 456 per year.

In 1434 he became member of the Privy Council of Sweden and in October of the same year he assumed one of its most senior offices, Lord High Constable of Sweden, or Riksmarsk.

Bourbon and the Bishop of Beauvais raised a new army at Toulouse, in part financed by the Pope whose nephew had been captured by Derby the previous year, while John of Normandy brought with him a substantial number of nobles from the north including such dignitaries as the Eudes IV, Duke of Burgundy, Raoul II of Brienne, Count of Eu the Constable of France, both Marshals and the Master of Crossbowmen.

In 1602, apparently with the agreement of Juan Fernández de Velasco, 5th Duke of Frías, Constable of Castile, his uncle and political godfather and one of the most powerful and outstanding personalities of the reign of King Philip III of Spain, Osuna escaped from his confinement in the castle of Cuéllar, a place / prison used for the last two centuries to control " illustrious " Crown guests accompanied by a servant, arriving in Brussels in October of that year.

In the same year he came to England, where he was deeply impressed by the genius of Constable.

Melton Constable reached its heyday about 1911 ; in the census of that year it had a population of 1, 157.

The painting caused a sensation when it was exhibited with other works by Constable at the 1824 Paris Salon ( it has been suggested that the inclusion of Constable's paintings in the exhibition were a tribute to Géricault, who died early that year ).

He was made Chamberlain of the Royal Household in 1399, and on 30 September that year was appointed Constable of Dover Castle and Warden of the Cinque Ports ( dated by the parliamentary returns for the Cinque Ports he made in reply to the writ dated 30 September ), thus becoming effectively the guardian of the English Channel, which was threatened by invasion from the French King.

That third year he wrote plays with a fury.

So wrote a ten year old student in a letter to his parents from North Country School, Lake Placid, New York.

After he had been away from home about a year he wrote: `` ( dear Wife ) if I did not write and receive letters from you I believe that I would forgit that I was married.

He wrote, apparently about the year 1143, a chronicle entitled Annales sive Historia de gestis regum Britanniae, which begins with Brutus and carries the history of England down to 1129.

Primo Levi, who described his year in Auschwitz in If This Is a Man, wrote:

" The Abyssinians possess also the Ark of the Covenant ", he wrote, and, after a description of the object, describes how the liturgy is celebrated upon the Ark four times a year, " on the feast of the great nativity, on the feast of the glorious Baptism, on the feast of the holy Resurrection, and on the feast of the illuminating Cross.

He also wrote songs, including his Seven Early Songs ( Sieben Frühe Lieder ), three of which were Berg's first publicly performed work in a concert that featured the music of Schoenberg's pupils in Vienna that year.

In that same year Lerner also wrote the Oscar-winning original screenplay for An American in Paris, produced by Arthur Freed and directed by Vincente Minnelli.

In 1992, he wrote the introduction melody for the European football championship, which was organised by Sweden that year.

In this year, he also wrote an important treatise on the arithmetical triangle.

The late author Sheldon H. Harris in his book " Factories of Death: Japanese Biological Warfare, 1932-1945, and the American cover up " wrote that, The test program, could be part of Project AGILE or Project OCONUS which began in fall 1962 and which was funded at least through fiscal year 1963, was considered by the Chemical Corps to be “ an ambitious one .” The tests were designed to cover “ not only trials at sea, but Arctic and tropical environmental tests as well .” The tests, presumably, were conducted at what research officers designated, but did not name, “ satellite sites .” These sites were located both in the continental United States and in foreign countries.

Following some success illustrating cards and booklets, Potter wrote and illustrated The Tale of Peter Rabbit publishing it first privately in 1901, and a year later as a small, three-colour illustrated book with Frederick Warne & Co. She became unofficially engaged to her editor Norman Warne in 1905 despite the disapproval of her parents, but he died suddenly a month later, of leukemia.

However after the obituary appeared, a nephew wrote to say that Charles Babbage was born one year earlier, in 1791.

Most important, each year from 1907 until James's death in 1910, James wrote to his friends in the Boston intelligentsia to request financial aid for Peirce ; the fund continued even after James died.

The year after he wrote Das Deutschlandlied, Hoffmann von Fallersleben lost his job as a librarian and professor in Breslau, Prussia, because of this and other revolutionary works, and was forced into hiding until being pardoned after the revolutions of 1848 in the German states.

Fellow Italian composer Franco Donatoni wrote a piece called Lem for contrabbasso in the same year.

Also that year he wrote on Husserl's Ideen ( 1913 ) a long review published by a French journal.

He wrote to Burghley, enumerating years of fruitless attempts to amend his financial situation and complained: ' This last year past I have been a suitor to her Majesty that I might farm her tins, giving £ 3000 a year more than she had made.

He wrote, “ cursed those Jesuits, saying, ' Our world used to be peaceful, but it has been filled by greedy colonialists, who make war every year and shorten our lives ’”.

The Conversation, which Coppola directed, produced and wrote, was released that same year, winning the Palme d ' Or at the 1974 Cannes Film Festival.

In the year 1569, Girolamo Mercuriale from Forlì ( Italy ) wrote Le Arte Gymnastica, that brought together his study of the attitudes of the ancients toward diet, exercise and hygiene, and the use of natural methods for the cure of disease.

The Indian Queen followed in 1695, in which year he also wrote songs for Dryden and Davenant's version of Shakespeare's The Tempest ( recently, this has been disputed by music scholars < ref >
