Link is also a fighter in Super Smash Bros. Melee for the Nintendo GameCube, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii alongside Zelda ( also able to transform into Sheik ), Ganondorf and Young Link ( the child version of Link from Ocarina of Time ).

Worms: A Space Oddity was developed by Team17 exclusively for Nintendo's Wii system, using a heavily modified version of the Worms: Open Warfare 2 engine.

An updated version for the Wii has also been announced.

In 2009, this version was also released as an unlockable extra of the Wii action game Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, and as a digitally distributed Steam title.

A version for the Wii Homebrew Channel has also emerged.

Admiral Ackbar can be played as a hidden character in the Nintendo Wii version of the 2008 video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed if the player enters the cheat code " ITSATWAP ".

This version of the pad will also work in conjunction with the Wii Remote.

It has currently been released in Japan on the Wii, and is in the making of a Wii U version.

Yoshi appears in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and his role in the game is very similar to his original role in Super Mario World.

Peach was not a playable character in New Super Mario Bros. Wii because it would require special programming on how the game handles her dress, however, she is the main protagonist in Super Princess Peach and is a playable character in most Mario spin-offs such as Mario Party, Mario Kart and also sports games.

The infant form of Princess Peach that appears in Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, Yoshi's Island DS, Mario Kart Wii and Mario Super Sluggers, known as Baby Peach, is voiced by Mills, though replaced by Samantha Kelly starting with Mario Kart Wii.
